I would have thought wrapping him up would have been a semi-priority for the off season.

Cotts has been around for a while. I'm not exactly sure but we get to keep him for a least a couple years.

This is true, he has a weird service clock bc of his injury past, but I do believe we have him for a little while, we've been willing to give him his shot (we had him in camp the year before) and I imagine he has a bit of loyalty to us, maybe sometime in the next year they'll lock him up for something like a 3 year deal at a reasonable cost in AAV

Think we are all waiting on Terps and his friend to enlighten us on anything. But this Price thing could take awhile. And I'm not sure we all would like it if it came through. May cost too much.

Price doesn't excite me just yet. Will however get really excited if we get Choo and one other. Imagine the cost for price and losing four 1-0 games. C'mon big bats!.

That's another thing. Boras is notoriously slow. With Choo, this could drag on all December. Well winter meetings is, I believe, next week.

We all know he would upgrade any rotation, but there's 3 problems. One was just mentioned by Darryl. Another is that puts 4 lefties in our rotation (unless one is included). Plus, I doubt JD trades a lot of prospects for 2 years of Price. I don't see any reason why Price would sign an extension.

If we did trade for him and had to include a major league ready pitcher, I would trade Holland before I would trade Perez. Durrett mentioned it could be Ogando. I doubt he would entice the Rays, but maybe.
