I'm just saying its not biting us in the ass as much as people keep bringing it up, only Edwards would've been useable as trade bait now, if not having Edwards is keeping us from getting Price, we aren't trying very hard

I'm not sure Edwards would've ever really made it in our rotation. Reminds me a lot of Grimm. His numbers certainly would've regressed as he ascended through the levels.

Happy Thanksgiving guys. As cheesy as it sounds, I'm thankful to be a part of this board. Even the people who we think aren't as knowledgable are still much much more smart, baseball IQ wise, then like 90 percent of my friends lol. Its cool hearing all the different perspectives, and hopefully the rangers can put a winning formula together throughout the next couple months

I moved to Irving in 1980 and immediately got on the Ranger bandwagon - such that it was.

It might have been the worst of times, but still enjoyed seeing them in that old AA concerted park. Or was it AAA?

I wish I had a say in things... unfortunately I feel like if I was a gm our rotation would be Darvish Price Greinke Perez and Holland.

We wouldn't have been able to make the prince trade but I probably wouldve shopped EA or kinsler for as much as I could to relieve salary pressure. JD does a good job, better than I would do for sure. His biggest problem is sometimes he holds onto prospects too long for what they are worth, and then when they are finally ready to play their talent comes to fruition
