Works nicely for me too. Must not forget we still need a catcher. By the way, have you anything on AJ? I don't want him just curious.

Haven't seen nor heard anything on him. He's not an option for us IMO but he'll land a nice 1 year deal with someone. Someone might even give him 1 with an option.

As far as Meyers is concerned, can't imagine thye would part with him. He won't be arbitration eligible until 2017 and a FA in 2020. So not only is he good and probably getting better, he's cheap for the next 3, and controllable for 6.

Ya know, Arroyo is extremely goofy and people are turned off by low s/o and stuff, but he would be an easy short term signing for the back end. He is sturdy and pretty damn consistent.

Actually, we've got him locked up through 2020 if we pick up all the options. And his total contract through then only runs about $32 mil. That's very team friendly if he continues building on last season.

Ya know, Arroyo is extremely goofy and people are turned off by low s/o and stuff, but he would be an easy short term signing for the back end. He is sturdy and pretty damn consistent.

I don't know what Arroyo is asking for, but he's one of these middle of the rotation pitchers that might be a really nice addition. The guy has been consistently solid for many years....and he's done well in a hitters park too...

Move over. Could not agree more and I keep saying pitching is not our problem at the present. We lost games that should have been won and was lost only because of negative success w/risp. i.e. Darvish four 1-0 losses. Price would have produced no better results imo. Get offense in better shape.

Exactly DT, how much does it help if we can't score more runs.
If we get Price for next to nothing...great.

Well, Arroyo's 36 and made $16m plus last year...good control, but prone to the HR.. He may be a bit pricey...
