lol I don't even think he knows I post here, but when I find out I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Its a tough situation no matter how you put it. We now have a much better bat than we had all of last year though who is surely gonna have a year of many long balls. That gamechanger is already in place. I think if we were to sign Choo, then our development would basically be done, and it would boil down to making our strengths stronger.

Well same thing could
Be said for pitching.. You can't give up runs either
I didn't know that. Check the games we should have won because of the pitiful failure of untimely hitting and you may realize we were not far from winning a division. No doubt our pitching far out weighted our hitting. Sorry if you don't see that because failure to execute w/risp was one of the biggest discussions on this board as I recall

I think DT's point is that last season Yu lost 4, 1-0 games, so no one can really pitch much better than that. And it wasn't just Darvish, but that's amazing to think one guy lost 4 games 1 zip.
I do believe we pitched well enough to win the division.

No argument here.

considering that we had at least 10+ games where we lost 1-0 (Darvish lost at least 4 of those) because the batting order couldn't get RISP's in i would say you're right. but adding an arm like Price and Choo to lead off would be fantastic

and i also think that we need a bat behind Beltre at #5 which could be Morales

Price is a luxury. Choo is a necessity but you're right. Would be fantastic.

For me, I'll take Choo and Navarro, in that order, on the priority list. And Morales as the DH would be a nice fit too.

Maybe it's Wil Myers that JD is after. I know I doubt it too, but it makes sense to me. Moreland + for Myers....

Works nicely for me too. Must not forget we still need a catcher. By the way, have you anything on AJ? I don't want him just curious.

Its sorta sad to think that this is like the 6th year in a row that we'll have a different opening day starter. Must be some type of record lol. But that'll change for now on.

I still don't see the need for a blockbuster trade for Price. Pitching isn't our problem. He's going to cost us a left nut to resign him and we still have to pay Darvish in a few years. But maybe JD is up to something from a whole plan perspective.

I agree, we have a good rotation, do we need to maybe add a 4 or 5? I think it would be nice for depth, but everyone always turns their nose up at pitchers that aren't aces.

Anyway, hitting is the priority.

The Twins are about to sign some big FA according to MLBTR. Maybe this is where Garza ends up.
