Only if the deal was predicated on price signing an extension. No chance I'm giving up Perez for one year of price.

I'd hate to give up Martin for a more expensive player. Price is nice, and I know he is an ace but I think Perez has an upside that could make the gap between very small.

Price isn't a free agent until 2013, but I still agree. If we could somehow agree beforehand for him to sign an extension then let's pull the freakin trigger. He's a left handed power pitcher who is as consistent as they come, and he's a freakin horse. Great in the clubhouse as well. I bet he and elvis would be best friends

I'm still not high on harrison. Back injuries are awful for a pitcher. I've already explained why earlier, but there are several reasons why it could be bad this season. I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for mediocrity with him at least for this year

Ogando? They will need a closer. I would hate it to be Jackson or Perez. Maybe Tepesch. Spitballing.

i would expect it would be Luke Jackson, Moreland + 2 low-level prospects. they aren't going to trade Perez

Rosenthal tweets we're leaning towards keeping moreland right now. I like rosenthal and all, but I highly doubt this is true. It wouldn't make sense for us to trade for fielder and then try to keep moreland. I feel like as we speak JD is out their shopping him at every turn
