Baylor lost to a better team. No bad calls. Officials not to blame. They were out coached and out played. No excuses. Sooners look out.

Ive only caught a few series where Baylor was on offense but it seems like Baylor has run all over teams this year but somewhat abandoned the run tonight. Not sure if OSU defense just wouldn't allow them to run the ball or the game plan just wasn't to run the ball?

pretty much for the last 40 years or more...yes I would consider it normal, I would also expect young women and young men both do some regrettable things if they are drinking too much.

But, granted I don't know what the definition of "skank" is.

Serial monogamists....Have a new boyfriend or girlfriend each week and hop right into bed with them only to move on the next week.

3rd string running back is all they had. Other two hurt. No excuse. OSU was just better.

Peralta/Cards deal almost done, then not done, now maybe done

Peralta told Cards 4years/52 mill "was not even in the game"
ahh, okay Peralta

I believe you mis-read it. I think it was saying that another team offered a 4 year deal, and their offer wasn't even in the game.

Yeah I think I did misread it, but 52/4 is too low? I don't think so...but FA, I suppose
I thought that's what he was asking at one point, but Peralta has the upper hand... I guess.

Sorry to see Baylor go down. Does make you wonder how OK State lost to w vir considering how they played tonight

I have been wondering that ever since that game because West Virginia stinks.

An hour ago Morosi had not confirmed a deal was made. I wonder if JD has something to do with it

The Cards have their act together. You have to be on your toes when dealing with them.

I wonder what the Rangers had in mind with their offer to McCann. Because NY St sales tax is .75% higher, their gas tax is about double and they have a 8.82 % personal income tax to our zero. And add in the cost of living index for housing which is almost 500% higher, and this has me wondering what we offered, if anything.

His bat will fit nicely in NY but it would have done so here too. And our pitching staff is far superior to the Yanks.

I'm fine with not getting McCann. Makes it more likely that we'll sign someone else like choo, who I personally think is just as important. I'm fine with soto at this point

He probably liked that Cracker Jacks ballpark.

Have you hear anything lately on the ranger front?

Agreed. He hit 16 of his 20 HRs to dead right, and should translate to another 6+ there I think. But we've got a short right field as well - not as short, but short none the less - and their pitching vs the Rangers is not even comparable.

I am not alarmed at his signing. In fact it doesn't even concern me even a little. I like where we're at today and think JD has lots of options and flexibility to move forward.

Sorry, the "more than normal" was implied

Keith Law says McCann is an absolutely terrible thrower. I didn't know this, and certainly won't miss his lack of arm.

I got spoiled watching Sunny and Pudge perhaps.
