There are plenty of candidates to get the ax when Choo is added, tough to say which one it will be

Rafael Ortega, thats my guess, don't ask why, just seems like a good guess, maybe b/c I've never heard of him before

Good call. My money is on him too. I had to look him up.

He was picked off waivers from COL in November. Listed as a Pinch Hitter and CF by baseball-reference.com. Has a total of 4ABs in 2 games in 2012. Who ever heard of a player that is marketed as a pinch hitter when of his 4ABs ... only one was as a PH?

You probably have to be in the players union to get on a roster ... but I bet fans wouldn't mind filling up spaces on 40man rosters. You'd get bumped when they had to put a real player on the roster ... but what the heck ... maybe you'd get a ring if they win it all?

I dunno, thought I was pretty good

Although Olt kinda let everyone down, but we're done with him now and he's the Cubs' problem, and he helped make us make a push in 2013 when we needed reinforcements

Garza didn't pan out like we would've hoped but I'm not upset about them taking a chance

Although Olt kinda let everyone down, but we're done with him now and he's the Cubs' problem, and he helped make us make a push in 2013 when we needed reinforcements

Garza didn't pan out like we would've hoped but I'm not upset about them taking a chance

honestly I thought he was quite overrated, and was advocating trading him ASAP before he lost any value, and I wanted him to play to see if he had any value to us

Luckily he only lost some value before we dealt him

Just saw that, and ALL teams are free to negotiate if they see fit, posting fee goes to the team he comes to an agreement with

I think Joe Ortiz will be better in the long run, he just had a rude and somewhat unlucky debut season, he'll learn from this experience, he pitched better in his 2nd go round

I think we'll do our due diligence and check on the price but I have a feeling its going to be more expensive than we want and we'll bow out quick
