I liked Robiske coming out, but after he couldn't catch on in Cleveland I knew his prognoses wasn't good... Couple that with the fact that he couldn't do shit last year when he got some actual playing time and I know all I need to know about the dude...

Hope might make it as the #4 safety, but I have my doubts. It would mean giving up Ricardo Silva. As it is I think Wendling is not coming back so that would be a big hit to special teams losing both. Add in to the fact that eithe Travis Lewis or Ashlee Palmer will win a starting job and probably will not be a ST either and it weekens an already bad situation.

I can't see us cutting Wendling, he's our best special teams cover guy.

I'd like to see Silva hang onto that 4th spot, I love his size.

I've also read that whichever guy wins that 3rd LB spot will still be expected to be a big contributor on special teams. It makes since, since that's only a part-time spot, so staying fresh shouldn't be a problem...

Charges against Lions S Amari Spievey of third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a child were dropped in a Connecticut court Friday.

The charges stemmed from Spievey's March 26 arrest following a dispute with his girlfriend. "He and his girlfriend are back together again and everything’s resolved," said Spievey’s attorney, Michael Dowley. "Everything’s completed and everything’s fine. He’s really looking forward to the season with Lions."

Pettigrew was drafted to be a weapon for Stafford and I think every Lion fan that has ever voiced an opinion has at some point been critical of Pettigrew's knack for the big drop!

And sorry Charlie! Until Pettigrew becomes more consistent he is not a top 3-4 all around TE. He has the ability but thats just a four letter word in Detroit. Actually liked Jared Cook surprise Titans didn't make a stronger play to keep him.

I'd prefer to pull an old college prank - fill several medicine capsules with Gentian Violet crystals and dip them in wax a few times. Then, put them in the shower head and wait for your victim. The wax usually meant that the purple dye wouldn't come out for 3-4 minutes. Turns blond hair a sickly purple gray and cutting it off was the only cure.
