I like that Jack Campbell is starting to show signs of being worth the pick. His run D has always been great, but he is becoming decent in coverage as well. It is nice to see for sure.

7 realistically available trade targets for the Detroit Lions

I will take Ojulari. The rest meh. Nobody on our side other then Pascal has been dsecent and Josh is beat up. Dont think e played at all. Levi is a pass rush DT. Pat O'Connor is back but look a little heavy and slow. Its like we only have DTs and LBs.

Jamo in the news again . Guy has so much talent but has to be one of the most immature players I can remember. Wont' be shocked if Lions ride out his rookie deal and say so long. With 2 years left we should place wagers on how many more times he's suspended.

With Kalif back to 100% it is obvious the offense does not miss Jammo as much now. Another deep threat would make him expendable IMO.

Hello Lions fans.... big game this weekend.

My thoughts on game from Packers:

• I do not expect Jordan Love to play... did not practice Wed (not surprised)... but injury in game looked like would miss at least 1 game... and with bye after Lions game I expect him to sit
• Willis has surprised me and done pretty well as backup QB... but beating the Lions is whole other level of difficulty
• Packers pass rush has been poor/inconsistent this year... with Lions OL Goff could have a lot of time and another very good/efficient day
• Packers secondary has been strength of defense this year, but could have 2 important players out (Alexander, E. Williams)... if so, could benefit Lions passing game even more
• 3 rookies playing well on defense... Cooper at LB.. playmaker and will continue to get more reps going forward... E. Williams (safety) and Bullard (slot) in secondary have been good
• McKinney and Jacobs 2 very good off-season acquisitions for Packers

Hoping for no injuries for either team. Win or loss... I like to see Lions doing well, your fanbase deserves it.

Our defense is not that hard to beat though as long as the game is close. We still are not good against running QBs and our DC is too stubborn to change anything. A team could only have 1 weapon to be stopped and there will still be no attempt to adjust to stop it.

If we get a decent lead then it will be trouble for you guys. Our defense is much better when the other team is 1 dimensional. Your defense has to slow our offense down and keep it close.

Obviously we are without our starting DEs (not even sure who we roll out there this week). No Jammo on offense. The rest is manageable. Goff rolled his ankle last week but will play barring any unforeseen issues. Same for 1 of out LBs but he is most likely out.

Thanks, @Tainthappening - I’ve been looking forward to this matchup since the season started. It’s a little diminished due to injuries on both sides, but that should be no excuse for the outcome. Let’s have a clean game and reasons to cheer our favorite squads on this weekend.

Managed to come away with a win. Tough conditions for the offense so only scoring 17 is not a huge deal.

Defense came up big when needed but did not look good overall. We need an edge guy who can rush the passer. We have noone. Many have been given opportunities and just not got it done. Houston looks slow and weak. Levi is too slow to be out there on the outside on pass downs (love him inside though on those). Muhammed looked bad this game. No pressure and bad angles. Even our interior D-line was not great. 400+ yards in crappy weather is not good. Some stupid penalties too. Game was over if Amik could have kept his mouth shut instead we gave up an extra TD.

Current rumor is that the trade for Za'Darius Smith is all but done, no mention of what is traded though

Too many injuries too. Love was not close to 100% and looked in pain even when he was not limping. Your best defensive players out too left you with little to work with although they did better than expected.
