Not really. This is all we are doing? I dont want to break the bank, but damn there are more quality DEs to be had
I meant as in another one. We need 2Not really.
Maxx would’ve cost other players and multiple first and second day picks.
The Steelers got a depth DE for a 7th. We got a guy who should lead the team in sacks for a 6th and 7th.
Was kinda hoping we’d swing a deal for Crosby though. Figured Hooker for Minshew could’ve been involved. Which would’ve been good for this year.
can,t always get what you want-rolling stones.I meant as in another one. We need 2
I was hoping Hendrickson, but the Bengals had to win and fuck it upNot really.

Its about time you showed up here jerkweed.
He seems genuinely pleased to be in Detroit.
With the way our offense was all game i am ok with trusting the kicker. It's nice to have a kicker that he does trust like that. What a win. These are the type of games we've seen the Lions on the opposite side of our whole lives. Including last year's nfc championship game. Only truly good teams find a way to win games like this. Great job by the defense.
However, I was a bit dismayed (again) with Campbell's decision-making. This time on that final drive. There is no reason to voluntarily settle for a 52 yard field goal with :37 still on the clock and two timeouts in your pocket. Sure, Bates made it (barely) and bailed out the coach. But you should really try to get more yards there. I like Campbell overall. He's done a tremendous job with this team. But I fear that he's going to lose us a playoff game.
That was an ugly win. Luckily, they get to go with the scoreboard and not style points. Defense really stepped up, keeping the Lions in it.
Hopefully Goff gets his MVP form back. It’s not like he wilted, he just didn’t look in command. Credit the Houston D with a superb performance. It didn’t look like they were taking advantage of Decker being out; Skipper held his own.
Special Teams came through. It looks like Detroit has found their kicker, and a good long snapper. It’s not often that the Offense is the weakest contributor to a victory for the Lions. Great to see the improvement in the overall team.
It was hard fought. They did show their grit. For me, the most impressive win was going to Dallas and giving Jerry his birthday spanking. It was an announcement from the Lions that “we’re done being the lovable losers - it’s your turn.”I thought it was the most impressive win of the season. No quit, just grit.

This Sunday should be a game where the Lions get right from the beginning of the game as they head into the second half of the season. We’ll find out quickly if the team has their focus on the present. I’m glad they are getting back to the friendly confines of Ford Field and it’s unlikely the Jags fans are traveling en masse. It will be good for the stadium to be quiet on Offense and LOUD on Defense. I wonder if there‘s an opportunity for selling hearing protection?
I hope we get a big early lead and rest everyone in the second half. Having a pseudo bye week would do wonders at this stage. This Sunday should be a game where the Lions get right from the beginning of the game as they head into the second half of the season.
