Looks like Houston has been waived, and based on comments he won't be on the practice squad either.
Did he do something wrong, or is his production simply not commensurate with his playtime?

Only comment from Campbell was he hopes a fresh start will help him reach his potential.

Browns picked him up to replace Z Smith.

He was finally moving and playing better so its a bit of a surprise. I am guessing there is more to this than performance. He must have made some comments possibly about the Smith trade.

Lions bringing up Jemarco Jones to replace Decker and Mo Alexander for Kalif.

I like JJ as long as he keeps his head on straight he is starter level talent.

It followed a similar theme, Colts at first marched right down the field, but could not punch it in. Second half they could not really move the ball. The way Vildor was picked on by a subpar QB, we better hope we get some CBs back before too long. He was clearly the weak spot.
Mosely actually played ST last week and word is he is ready to step in. Davis is out now but Arnold is back but we are still a little thin at CB.

Really hoping the Lions start a new streak of consecutive wins on Thanksgiving. It’s been tough going to or hosting dinners here where I live. Last year was epically disappointing, being trounced by the cheeseheads.

What I’m hoping to see tomorrow is a complete effort on a short week, treating the Bears like a top rate opponent. There’s so much reporting that centers around how great the Lions are now that I’m concerned the players will actually start acting like they are supposed to win just because they showed up.

This is probably the super bowl for the Bears. After this week I doubt any of their games matter. Lions better be careful.

Once again it feels like every critical play the defense allowed had Vildor as the closest defender.
We added Kwon Alexander to the LB group. Should be as good as Rodrigo if not better. So that is good news.

Vildor is a 4th at best. Too many injuries though. Hopefully Mosely is ready this week. Rakestraw has been out and now Davis. Dorsey has even been better than him.

But if we are so compromised at CB why the hell are we still playing so damn much man? How about some disguise to help the defense.

tough to know, but drastically changing the scheme can't be easy to do mid-season. Been a tough year healthwise on defense, it has still far exceeded what I think any of us expected. I am not real comfortable going into Thursdays game if Vildor is one of the 2 starters however.

We just picked up Jamal Adams. Would not surprise me to see Branch moved to CB. Didnt hear anything yet about Vildor being released though.

Arnold, Moseley, and Robertson is a solid enough 3 if all of them can go.

You think Adams starts Thursday at linebacker?

Might be a little soon. He is not a traditional LB. He is more like Iffy's old role (ie Peppers on other teams). He might see the field though depending how things go and considering its one of his old teams.
