2008 Detroit Lions went 0-16. Worst record in NFL history. Tied for Worst record by any team in football in the 2000s.
2019 Detroit Redwings. Worst record of any hockey team in the 21st century.
2023-24 Detroit Pistons. Well on their way to having the worst record of any basketball team this millennium. Still a ways to go to match the ineptitude shown by the other Detroit sports teams, but I'm not convinced they'll ever win again.


Just in case anyone was starting to feel good about the Lions. Remember we suck. Detroit don't even have the glory of a curse or anything. Not any sort of lovable losers. Not the eternally optimistic. We won't get them next year. The sun will not come out tomorrow. Just a shitty sports town.
