Kings got lucky. Low effort game, Oilers missing a ton of players and Ducks winning to keep the 4 point lead over Edmonton.

Need a much much better effort on Thursday.

The lady and I watching, I said he may have had diarrhea because personal reasons mid game makes zero sense unless a death or something happened.

I didn't get to see the game, but you'd rather have stinkers now than later. I think no Doughty or Edmundson probably mattered too though. Net nothing since Oilers lost. Kings have been pretty on point of late, so it is what it is. Last year they just absolutely backed into the playoffs the final week. Remember they had to get like 1 win in final 3 games to avoid Dallas, and they almost lost all 3, including to Chicago. Something like that. Maybe I am mis-remembering, but it was like they had to come from behind to win just to avoid Dallas, which didn't even matter, as Oilers dispatched them in 5.

Reading Kempe's wife may have had their baby so he left the game. I didn't even know that dude was married if true but logical why he left the game.

And Utah lights up Seattle 7-1 last night while the Kings muster only a fluky should have been negated goal by Buster (they didn't review it because no penalty was called on the play but Buster clearly held the stick - missed call but take it, otherwise the Kings get shut out and lose 2-0) and lose 2-1.

Makes you wonder if there was an emotional let down after the Oiler win plus knowing they locked a PO spot early this year on the same night compared to years past where it seems they back in or it comes down to the last few games or whatever.
