I think coaches shouldn't use a challenge in the first half unless its a change of possession, a long completion/catch, or anything in your defensive red zone. All scores are automatically reviewed.

Any other situations they should use a challenge early?

Depends on if you want the highest quality unfortunately yes if you want to watch in 1080P HD Quality but 720P or 480P doesn't take as much.

There are settings for the Livestreaming and Data Usage you can change in the settings.
