Yah, why not. Say SA wins, Duncan and Ginobili retire and Lebron joins the Spurs. Then you have Parker, Leonard, and Lebron. The Big 3 :laugh3:

Lebron holds the cards and will decide his next place. Fascinating events to unfold.

FYI, Kobe was the best player in the league for a period of time. Cmon, thats well known and not a debate.

They can trade Deandre to a team with cap room, that will shed roughly 11 Million

Still wouldn't have enough room and generally you have to take similar salaries back. A draft pick or two would lessen some of that. Maybe a trade exception I guess. There isn't an easy path for him to get to the Clippers except signing a minimum contract.

Of course, it wouldn't be just Deandre. They have other pieces to trade if the Clips want to make it work. My point was that Deandre alone gives you 11 million right away. You are basically half way there just by trading once player.

You don't have to take similar salary back unless the team you are trading with is over the cap. If a team has 20 million in cap room then they can absorb up to 20 million and salary and return nothing to the other team. All the clippers need to do is send Deandre and other players to a team or teams with cap room and they will free you cap room. They could also make it work with a three or four team trade.

No point in even reading anything else you've posted. Even Kobe haters know better than that.

At some point in Kobe's career Shaq, Duncan, Wade, or Lebron was the best player in the game.

Kobe was never the best player in the world.

Wow I didn't realize how obnoxious & provocative you are. Not to mention how stupid anything you say or imply has no coherent value to it. Typical Clipper fan almost as bad as Heat fans, but at least they know Kobe & Shaq were the 2 best players in the world during their run & Kobe became the best after Shaq was traded.

In the meantime let me laugh at your stupidity. :pound:

True and there was also a time in each of their careers where Kobe was the best player in the game. As Logicman says, it's not even a debate.

By the time Kobe retires, he will have been in the league for about 20 years. There have been a few best players in the game and Kobe was one of them for about 4-5 years.

Nobody with any legit hoops knowledge think Kobe and Shaq were on the same level during their championship runs.

Shaq and Duncan were the best up until 04-05, Wade was the best in 05-06, then Lebron was the best after that and still is.

Numbers alone don't tell the entire story unless you lack hoops knowledge which you seem to lack. Do you think Shaq and Kobe had the same impact on the defensive end? Shaq required a double team all the time on the offensive end, Kobe didn't. Your numbers will never tell you the things which is why you can't coach numbers or adequately assess a player by numbers only.

There's a difference between best scorer and best player.

Kobe was the best scorer for awhile

Typical Kobe fan

Shows regular season and some playoffs averages.....

Notice there's no championship Finals averages listed?......not a coincidence. That's what Kobe kids do.
