Also, to my point about even strength scoring. We've scored 180 goals, just behind playoff teams like Toronto, Edmonton, Los Angeles and Carolina. How amazing is that!? Lol

And for God's sake, load up that top power play unit!! We should have the talent to score with Konecny, Michkov, Tippett, some growth from Drysdale and a big forward in front yet to be named.

Unless there's an absolute stud then I say don't waste the picks you have, stockpile a few more and then use it next draft to get the kid you were referencing earlier.

That's a great thought, but nobody drafting #1 overall with a generational talent on the board is gonna just trade that pick away. Danny B has to steal a player from another team or two here eventually. A player they have given up on that is still young and with a lot of potential.

This could be an option and yes it can be done but we would have to give up a lot to get it done. Probably a lot more than we would be comfortable giving up. IMO Our best chance of getting McKenna would be tanking again next year and hope for a lucky ping pong ball. From what ive heard from Danny B i dont think he has any plans on tanking next year. We could always get lucky though and hope a GM out there is as bad as Hextall.

I would think the current bottom dwellers will be the same bottom dwellers next year. All are in “rebuild” mode. No one is going to give up the next McDavid. Tanking is the only option to get the #1 next year.

Owen Tippett should've had 30 goals and 55-60 points this season based on his trajectory. Well, he's only at 19 goals and 39 points. Ouch!! No excuses either. This dude is freshly 26 years old with already 341 games of Nhl experience. You got paid too, my man. Where is the damn production!?

This is a guy that shows immense talent on occasion and then nothing special for 3, 4 or 5 games. If he's not gonna be a 30 goal scorer, we got ripped off in that extension. I think he will be, but it has to happen asap.
