No doubt Rr and company is gone no matter what. Thats why I believe he going to go back to the guy he handpicked this offseason in Wentz. What does RR care about the 2nd round pick now that the team will be sold? There is no way in hell the new owners will keep TH around. So really the season starts in 2 weeks. I can't see us beating the Eagles. I think he gives Wentz a shot at 4-6 and see what he can do.

Will Rivera keep that 2nd rounder for us, probably not. As you said, he is coaching for his life right now and probably knows he is a dead man walking barring a miracle.

If I am the new owner, here is who I target and have them build the team. He has been with the Chiefs during their rebuild under Reid and has experience in just about every aspect of the business.

If the sale doesn't go through unto March do you guys see them changing the coach etc. that late? I guess Bezos could do some work behind the scenes before to be ready to move quickly.
March is really bad timing for a coaching change. Just finished FA, draft boards are set. I'm with @duke1861 that I really don't want Ron to get another crack at FA or the draft. Especially if we go qb at 1.

We have a history of sticking the new coach with the QB that the last coach picked. To answer your question, I think it's 50/50.

If this sale really does happen and Bezos can get his bid to Dan in January. Maybe the other owners fast track this thing and the sale is complete before FA. If that's the case I could see Ron "stepping down."

LOL...just posted about this in talking with Chiller.

The timing sux and I am sure the other owners know that. Hopefully, they can do a simple zoom vote on this or something like that in February 2023. I will be the first to admit that I am ignorant with this, but surely they can do a simple vote via conference call right? Who knows????

I have no idea how that works either. I would think they could call.a special meeting seeing how they all want to rid themselves of Dan as quickly as possible.

Don't forget the White investigation, the Feds. I think the owners want him gone before those investigations are wrapped up.

Yep, that was my point .... it comes down to timing.

If the sale isn't approved until March can you building a new team then?

Absolutely blew that game. Why risk a timeout in the 2nd half on a 1yd spot? Needed that.

Scot Turner has to go. I don't care how strong this team finishes. Your QB is 6'0 tall and keeps getting balls batted at the LOS. This begs for designed rollouts and naked bootlegs. Nope..not Scott.

He's gonna wait until it's 4th and 1 to try it. Not to mention the QB draw on 3rd and 7ish something. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the double reverse flea flicker to John "freakin" Bates?!!!! Got lucky on that reverse to Rogers. He has to go.

Heinicke throwing a YOLO ball into triple coverage was terrible. It was 2nd down! I could see if it was thrid down, but even then. Can't do that. If not for the ref. Sailed the ball to Thomas. Bad game from him.

That said, if not for Ridgeway, I think Heinicke drives us down the field and wins the game. Lol

I actually though AG was in the doghouse, or something had happened in the locker room pre-game. Ron just decided he wasn't going to play one of his most explosive players in the 1st Q.

Some of those runs Robinson made, AG would have done more with. Robinson did get some though yards today for us.

Worse hands Dyami Brown or Rod Gardner?

I like Milne the WR better than Milne the PR. I will say, I feel safe when he's back there on PR.

Two bad games in a row for Lucas. I was wrong. If Cosmi is healthy he deserves a shot at RT again now that the knee is healthy and the cast is removed.

Front four.......dominant.

Davis continues to flash, Forrest and McCain are filling in nicely for Cole. Bostic got beat.

BSJ is young. He'll learn who to use his hands without getting flagged. You can win with him. Good game from Fuller. T.J. killed us.

Defense held a Cousins, Cook, Jefferson, Hockenson, Thielen offense in check..........without Chase. Nice.

Slye and Way were good.

If I'm JDR, I'm giving Ron and Scott the side eye at Ashburn all week.

Wasn't a must win. Should of had it though. Skins are gonna have to beat Houston, Atlanta, and sweep the Giants if they are serious about playing in January.

Rod Gardner....that is a blast from the past.
I remember when he was drafted...I was jumping up and down in my dorm room as he was the player I wanted.

Wow...memories indeed.

I was pissed. I had just got married that year. Maybe 26 years old. Had my draft board and my highlighter. Kept crossing out names hoping nobody would pick Santana. Got to us and he was still there. I'm geeked. Took Gardner. Head in hands immediately.

Oh yeah...Moss was clearly the better pick. I did not know that at the time.

I just remember watching Gardner's highlights at Clemson and thinking he would be a stud. He was tall and fast....but he dropped way too many balls as you said.

Rod Gardner 50/50 because that was the odds on him catching the ball.

Gardner wasn't that fast either. He still wasn't as big a disappointment as Micheal Westbrook.

Who was our WR corps at the time? Was it Michael Westbrook, Gardner and James Thrash?
Westbrook, Gardner, Thrash, Kevin Lockett, Eric Matcalf was made a WR as well and Derrius Thompson.

Flemister, Alexander and Rasby were the TEs.

Yeah, that challenge was ridiculous. That flea flicker was stupid to.

I thought the Rogers reverse was nice. Could've been a lot nicer had RR not fucked off the time out.

Milne made a nice play to get into the end zone for hjs TD.
.
BSJ also need to get into gear faster than he does. Jefferson just ran right by him a couple times and he was just flat-footed. And damn he's handsy n grabby.

Terry Mac was who Taylor should've went to on his TD pass to Samuel. He was open in the middle of the field. I'm still a little shocked Taylor actually tried that pass to Samuel. Its as if he has no idea how wienie armed he truly is.

I agree that Gibson could've done more on some of those Robinson runs, but both of them need to start using a stiff arm and/or a high step. Both get ran down from behind a lot, Robinson by DL even.

Ridgeway needs gto be doing up downs or gassers or something all this week. His penalty was borderline unforgivable as it looked like he had no fuckin idea you can't line up over or hit the snapper.

The best game our front four has played. The front 7 were pretty damn good as well. When does Holcomb get back? Payne continues to show that he needs to be re-signed. Hopefully he's open to it.

I'm gonna hesitate pattin JDR on thew back though. I can't help, but think why does the defense needs 4 to 6 weeks it seems like every year to get their shit together.

Curl was abused by Hockensen n Cook Notr a shociker though. Both have quite the skill-sets..

Bad coaching, n self inflicted wounds. They had a damn good shot at winning today.

BSJ grabs every week. It seems he gets away with one or two every week as well. As you stated not the fastest guy, but I like him. I'd like him a lot more as my #2 and not my #1. Looked like he was traveling yesterday. That says a lot.

Ridgeway fkd up, but someone has to tell them if anyone gets a penalty this game is over. Just stand up.

Not sure on Holcomb. Hoping a ownership and coaching change can make Payne priority number one. I don't think he is that with this current staff.

Good point with JDR, but I really think WJ3 may have been the Fly in the ointment. Can't underestimate the job Zgonina (ska-neena) has done. Mills had obviously lost the D-Line room.
