I thought the refereeing was uneven for both teams. I never understood the penalty where the Eagle got hit in the mouth and got the penalty. He must have said something about the refs mom.
He’s a thug. I can’t believe teams still sign that one

I just see it differently. By any stat he certainly did not come close to locking down AJ Brown. Brown clearly won this first matchup. And then of course there are the injuries.
So a case of Brown winning the battle (individual match up) but Lattimore winning the war (Skins winning the game)

I'll take that all day every day.

There is an annual statement by smart people in fantasy football…don’t play Mike Evan’s against New Orleans because of Lattimore…that is now Washington.

So crazy i JUST saw that on reddit

Not exactly sure when Lattimore was injured but he was clearly playing in the first quarter when Barkley went for 109 and 2 TDs in that one quarter. They were only able to stack the box once Hurts went out, it was only then that they stopped Barkley. Had nothing to do with Lattimore.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED this trade. But so far we just can't say it has worked out, at least for this season. And we have to seriously question if he can be counted on to be available in the years to come.

Exactly what has Lattimore not done in 2 games that has you feeling giving up late round picks wasn't worth it? Im curious

Again I loved the trade. Still do. But what has he given us this year since the trade? He's barely played, is out again, and in the game on Sunday he gave up more pass completions than passes he defended and had a bunch of PI penalties. Only one was a bad call IMO, the other was obvioisly a penalty and the third one down the sideline was a penalty to me for the reasons I have already posted. AJ Brown was the clear winner in Round 1.

And now we have yet more questions about his durability going forward.

The Eagles targeted Marshon Lattimore in coverage 10 times, doubling his previous high mark this season. The last time a team targeted receivers covered by Lattimore more than 5 was Week 8 last season, when the Colts targeted him 13 times.

Against the Eagles, Lattimore allowed 5 receptions (50% rec rate) for 68 yds and 1 TD. He made 3 pass breakups and was flagged for pass interference 3 times for 68 yds. At least one call was total BS. He had a rough day in coverage, averaging 2.39 yds/cov snap. He also made 3 tackles and 1 assist, with 1 defensive stop.

2022 he missed 11games 23 7 games missed, 2024 already 6 and 7 looms so in 3yrs he has missed 24 games with 25 looming and possibly 26 by the end of the year

so , yes questioning the trade is valid

I think we can all agree, it's early but we would like to see more dividends for the resources we gave up moving forward.

I think the same but his history on health is not good . I see Curtis Samuel type situation

If he's getting cooked and pass interfering on AJ Brown next year then maybe we have an issue. Im certain he rushed back, still learning our defense, and just for the record, do you realize AJ Brown is one of the best WRs in the game? What he's done in Tennessee and Philly is top notch.
I understand your issues, i just respectfully have to say it seems too soon to be disappointed.

Yep the injury bug is a concern. I have been on both sides of the ball playing and coaching and we all know injuries are going to happen. Probably most think like I do, if you seem to be injured a lot that might be your MO. Lineman always amaze me because they always get caught up with people falling on their legs. We'll just have to wait and see.

What I said was it hasn't worked out so far and I don't see how that is debatable. We have gotten hardley anything out of this trade so far and the injury concern will carry over to next season. Now locking down AJ Brown is unrealiastic but playing him even was not too much to ask and he lost this matchup clearly.

That does not mean I don't support the trade. But at this point in time I don't see how any fan would not be disappointed in the return so far.

I was going to give you a thumbs up until you said you don't see how its debatable. If we are going to focus soley on Lattimore, we are undefeated when he plays and with his help, we finally beat a superior team. In addition he's already had 1 game where he shutdown one side of the field. This is what you expected right? Or are you going to respond with BUT or only because? He was a shutdown corner game 1 and helped us beat philly game 2. Again i respect you opinion and not trying to be a jerk. I just have a different timetable

he can be a shut down CB , when he is on the field , thats it when he is on the field he misses waaaaay too many games and now he looks like a 2 game player

I expected more than 7 quarters of football out of him this season. That was my main point, read my post again and you can see that.
