Blast from the past !!
He has gotten one last year I thinkThe effort on that play by Carter speaks volumes . He almost got that
He wasn't very good yesterday anyway...
I think that is just a tackle from behind. Hip drop is when you catch a guy (mostly stationery) grab him around the waist and fall on your ass. JMO
Regardless they haven’t really been calling them during the game. They just usually fine them after. The main thing with the hip drop that they don’t want is when the defender lands on the back of the runners legsI think that is just a tackle from behind. What’s any corner to do when brown has his hand inside the front of the jersey pulling you down? Hell most probably wouldn’t have been able to keep up their footingI'm so happy for Crowder. I thought he was a solid signing as he has proven he can play in the league and never understood why they kept him on the shelf.
As for Lattimore I don't see how any of us can be happy with his game. Sure some of the PI may have been iffy. But he had his hands on the guy and gave the officials a reason to throw a flag. Brown won this matchup and it wasn't even close. Sure he is one of the top receivers but Lattimore is supposed to be able to match up with the best. Then he got hurt. Again. No this has not worked out at all so far and you just have to be concerned about his availability going forward.
He gave up 8 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also had 3 PI penalties I believe they may have been all in the same drive that lead directly to points. Regardless of what you think of the calls they were made and he gave the officials a reason to call them. And then he got hurt. Again. Nope not ever going to sugar coat it, this was a really bad game for him. What’s any corner to do when brown has his hand inside the front of the jersey pulling you down? That can't be right......is it????

yes it is /wasThat can't be right......is it????
yeah that has been a huge issue for himAJ definitely won the matchup. That said, we were able to stack the box and hold Barkley in check without AJ completely wrecking the game. Maybe if Hurts was in the game he would have.
The injury is what concerns me the most. I never thought Lattimore was going to pitch a shutout on AJ in his second game back.
My concern is if Lattimore can stay on the field or not.
That is an insane stat. Grats to you guys for finally getting that monkey off your backs.yes it is /was
I just see it differently. By any stat he certainly did not come close to locking down AJ Brown. Brown clearly won this first matchup. And then of course there are the injuries.Per PFF, Brown was targeted 10 times against Lattimore and had 5 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown but 3 of those incompletions were pass breakups by Lattimore, who had to leave early with a hamstring injury.
Yes, Lattimore was flagged for three PI; however, two were complete BS, one of which wasn’t even close, while another Brown had his hand inside Lattimore’s pads and Brown should have been called.
