Look if anybody left because they were too sensitive about politics then what can anyone do ? If you can’t “ tolerate it “ or scroll through it then that is an individual discipline issue . I think it is more about the lull till next game
I don't and it has nothing to do with politics, religion, or any of that nonsense. I'll create a new thread exacting more team-connected reasons for this lull.

Howell wouldn't be a QB1 in Washington this year. As for Terry Mac. I see him as a lower tier #1. He's not a Chase or Jefferson though. And if the Skins somehow acquire a WR better or more suited to be a #1 than TM. I'd be more than cool with that.
Howell was a QB1 here in D.C., and So were Heinicke, Wentz, Fitzpatrick, Keenum, McCoy, and Kyle Allen. (Alex Smith, IMO, was probably the only legitimate starting caliber QB during the reign of terror.)

Cousins and Haskins weren't given the opportunity or backing to prove themselves here, again this is my view, and we all know the Griffin III story.

Don't disagree with your first statement. Howell or any other QB mentioned including Alex who was legit wouldn't be QB1 this year was my point.

Kirk had opportunity and he was close, but he wasn't ready and management/the FO was a joke n the biggest issue.

Haskins was terrible period n management/the FO was a joke n the biggest issue.

Griffin's hard head made for a soft ass and management/the FO was a joke n the biggest issue.

Other than Cousins, the Skins haven't had a year in, year out can count on em QB since Joey T and haven't had a top tier QB in terms of talent since Sonny J. I'm hopeful that with Jayden they've found a QB capable of both.

Or looking at it another way. One TD drive went all of 15 yards. The running game produced 60 yards at 3.3 yards a pop. While Jayden only threw for 202 yards at 5.9 ypa. With more than a quarter of that coming on 1 play while totaling only 59 plays on 12 drives.

The offense took advantage of the Pitt drop on 4th dn and scored a TD so props to them for that. After that the offense was great on 2 drives. Closing out the first half going 94 yards in 15 plays. Then opening up the 2nd half with a TD drive where our main man Terry Mac had 70 of the 71 yards. One of their FG drives started off nice with 2 first downs, but fizzled out after that.

Man participation on our forum has almost disappeared. Is it the losing streak or the politics/religion thread? Maybe everyone is doing their Christmas shopping. :noidea:
I am an Eagles fan, we have no one on our forum.

BTW: Jayden looks to be legit, as an Eagles fan, I am hoping for RGIII pt 2.

There are a few folks here who share your hope for JD. They know who they are!

I haven’t heard anyone here hate on JD. I’ve heard opinions about rookie things, as expected, against the tough defenses he and the team just faced

You'd have to put their comments in context to see it.
There were folks who didn't want the guy drafted here, instead taking positions like, trading down, taking another QB, an offensive lineman, or even post Kirk Cousins hatred. The reasons varied between his size, running abilities, to possibly being better than Kirk.
I see the rookie things too from them, but "rookie things" to me mean there's room for understanding growth and struggles as he settles into life in the NFL. That said, how do you explain this penchant to hold him to perfection when those bumps occur from some folks, when the offensive line struggles are direct contributors, lack of a top flight WR to go along with TM another, or an aging, past his prime TE who's doing his best, isn't the safety net he once was?

i dont hold JD5 to a standard of perfection . i see a huge void about what expectations should have been for this year and what we are now . Stroud has regressed because of simply hitting a wall and he will break through soon . our team has some holes and it will improve. i love JD5 and think when all is said and done we will have randall cunningham with a better passing game

I don't want him to get hurt, I just hope he comes back down to earth, though I think he is the real deal. Snyder owned that team for 30 years (?), he never got a QB or a coach of that caliber. Good luck, except when they play the Eagles. Especially when they play the cowturds.

Snyder actually had Marty Schottenheirmer, Joe Gibbs version 2 and Mike Shanahan (with Kyle, McVay, LaFleur and O'Connell) as for a QB he had Kirk Cousins who is a top 20 all time QB. The problem was Snyder screwed the pooch in every occasion.

I think Jayden can be the real thing but we need to see him beyond this year to be sure. He was a hose on fire those first few weeks but has calmed down since. Maybe because of the injury and maybe because he is catching anyone by surprise now and we have to see how he moves forward.

He shouldn't be measured against Cousins. They are two completely different things and Daniels has a chance to do somethings that Cousins couldn't.

There is no reason not to comment on what we see. You certainly were ready to bury Cousins even in his 4th and 5th year. I can't speak for others but I think the ceiling for Daniels is high but he is going to make some rookie mistakes. It is not wrong to point that out while at the same time thinking as he grows he will get better. As far as the Oline goes that is a valid point but they played well until they played the state of PA.

People are going to sit on the toilet and crap roses all the time. Maybe I am wrong but it seems you want nothing but positive comments for the kid and you see people lurking to jump on him. Personally I am hoping he plays more like earlier in the year this coming Sunday. I think everyone here wants a good QB Sty and I thing JD5 might be that guy. It is just the beginning and he has lots of time to grow. Both AP and DQ are high on him.

I liked KC. I love JD. Everything KC does well, JD does better. Everything KC does poorly, JD does well.

That's cool. Too soon for me to tell. Right now without a full rookie year He is middling in the league as a B, -12 best QB. All that said I am still high on him.

I don't really want to compare him to Cousins because they are so different in the way they play the game. I would say if he can throw for 300 TDs and close to 50,000 yards I would be impressed. Of course by the time Daniels gets there it's a 50/50 chance I'll be buried on the side of a mountain in western MD but for all the other fans I hope he is all that. And if I am still kicking I'll love every minute of it.

I think in the next couple of years Jayden will have better WRs and Olineman which will help too.

He has had two bad games in a row. Let me know when Jayden has 17 TDs and is third in passing yardage. Yes I know he has more INTs. Both are 6-4.

We are 7-4 and had the second pick because we were that bad. Atlanta is 6-5. They were 7-10 last season with Desmond Ridder.

Atlanta has superior offensive weapons to us, at every skill position.
