He may be the favorite ahead of Duran for the LF gig next year. That is why we need Bubba......speed

Looking like a stud multi inning guyNice work Hearn
Or Huff still in AAA waiting on his chance.Probably going to be Huff, Duran plus some others traded.
Would make sense. Only have 40 man roster
That is probably way too much to hope for. The front office and developmental guys are going to have to make a whole lot of decisions. Some of those first decisions have been made and a few are very questionable. The idea that Garver is going to be kept over guys who can be around 5 or 6 years from now would be another highly questionable one.All we can hope for is they all perform and the best ones play

until this year Lopez had never gone more than 110 innings and this year, he is around 150 right now. the dead arm came around the 110-inning mark. i really don't want him but he is one of the better trade options that will probably be available this off=season. it is more likely we re-sign Martin and sign a FA starterI would barely want to do the Adolis trade.
Pablo suffered from “dead arm” for like 6 starts after the trade deadline and had a 5.30 ERA in June, 4.65 ERA in July and has a 4.61 ERA in August.
He had a stellar April/May but dropped off substantially the last 3 months.
I don’t think I want Pablo Lopez…
if he is healthy, we will probably see him at C and 1B and then dangle him out there as a trade bit at and before the trade deadline. he is not looked at as part of the future for this team just as a bit for the 2023 season.and I dont know that Garver is even going to be able to do much more than DH only
well he didn't do very good with Minny and we only saw him for 4 games at AAA and he wasn't spectacular there either
Lol. Watch him leave the Rangers and go to the Yankees and do as well there as Carpenter did.
Maybe the chickens are coming home to roost. From Jeff Wilson:
For now, the Friday and Saturday starters against the Red Sox are listed as TBA. The Rangers could put Arihara in front of Keuchel, thanks to the Monday off day, but interim manager Tony Beasley said he expects both to pitch.
He and general manager Chris Young were planning to discuss the situation Tuesday, but there isn’t much to discuss. The Rangers don’t have many options.
Kolby Allard pitched well his last time out at Triple A Round Rock. Don’t shoot the messenger. A more likely scenario would be to use an opener ahead of both pitchers to reduce the times they would have to face the top of the Boston order.
Doing that in back-to-back games, though, could strain the bullpen.
