Hope Bubba is in the line up. Big fan of his at the moment. With his speed he can be helpful in multiple ways. I think he has an inside chance to make it providing he can hit ML pitching. If not back to AAA for more AB.

Bubba's in it

wouldn't mind putting Bombi ahead of Dumbi, but honestly no real complaints about this lineup
Speed wise makes sense but Lowe does hit LHP well. At least the lineups are reasonably consistent so the players can get some rhythm

Before September 1 you have to create a roster spot for him.

And no, they aren't going to cut Calhoun or Miller.
they would have to create a roster spot even then. the September callups have to be from the 40

off-season question: Miami is willing to talk trades on pitching specifically Pablo Lopez. it would be expensive but what would you give for him

Nice thought.
maybe for Rangers as to make clear who to non tender but a guy injured getting dropped has to be challenging but like I said it may be closing time for him

Tough calls ahead

Adolis Garcia
114 OPS+ 2.7 WAR

Pablo is 112 ERA+ and a 2.6 WAR

Would be a fair trade.

Adolis has 2 more years of team control though..2027 vs 2025 for Lopez.. but pitching is more sought after..

they would expect more than Adolis. i'm thinking that it would take multiple MLB-level players and a couple of near ready prospects

We can’t even figure out our legitimate window despite Owner overtures

I would barely want to do the Adolis trade.
Pablo suffered from “dead arm” for like 6 starts after the trade deadline and had a 5.30 ERA in June, 4.65 ERA in July and has a 4.61 ERA in August.
He had a stellar April/May but dropped off substantially the last 3 months.

I don’t think I want Pablo Lopez…

I think you keep a guy like Adois unless he falls off the wagon. Guys like him are rare. We will find pitching without trading guys like Adolis.

I agree. He does come through in the clutch and would be nice to have in the playoffs. I like his arm and speed as well.
