No. But that seems to be about the only possible spot for him to get regular ABs.
They need to go to spring training with an open mind though, IMO

Otherwise he might need to become a trade chip to use to fix another need.

pitching last time up.

I would like to have a healthy Garver in the lineup.
He’s recently had a 157 OPS+ in 2021 and 141 in 2019. 100 this year.
He’s proven he can be a big bat

Having Lowe, Garver, Heim, and Huff all who cannot play more than 1B or C is a drawback when the team only carries so many position players. Not to mention this team could have Duran to DH as well. Then there is the whole 40 man crunch this winter

Probably going to be Huff, Duran plus some others traded.
Would make sense. Only have 40 man roster

Again, someone might have to be trade bait at some point in the offseason. Not sure who. Also can't say that some of this team's top hitting prospects - Foscue, Harris, ect - might not force their way into the ML lineup next year. Going to take a prudent front office to sort through it all.

They have to nail these trades that are coming.

Agreed. If they’re going to acquire pitching, they’ll have to trade some of the infield prospects and maybe one of the catchers.
