Let's nominate them, and then maybe I'll do a poll on who are the top 10 storied franchises. You can use any criteria you want. Super Bowl success is sure to be a factor, but you can assign it whatever weight you want. I will start by nominating two franchises that don't have much Super Bowl success, though they both won a lot of championships prior to the Super Bowl, which should never be forgotten. I nominate the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears.

Packers, Bears, Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys, Browns, 49ers, Raiders, Giants and Colts

With last night's win, maybe Rams make the club? They do have Fearsome Foursome, Eric Dickerson, and Greatest Show on Turf. Maybe the relocations hurt them? But I agree with the Colts.

You never said it had to be storied in a good way. So Lions

The Cubs are definitely one of the most storied baseball teams, so maybe you're right.

Yes. Some great teams. How the hell are the Browns in this group?

Browns gotta be in. Paul Brown, Jim Brown, team of the decade for the 1950s.

And Marion Motley, Lou Groza, and Otto Graham. I'm sure I'm forgetting many.

Those clashes with the Broncos in the 1980s were memorable.

Considering the lack of Super Bowl success, the Vikings will have a difficult time cracking the top 10. But I'll make my case.

Given the success and heartbreak of 4 Super Bowl Losses and 6 NFC Championship Game losses, it would be appropriate to include the Vikings as the best team to never win one.

Let's ask this, The Bucs and Ravens both have multiple titles, but one was a complete joke for 25 years until they won one and the other has only existed as a team for 25 years. Would either be considered "storied franchises"?

The Ravens pretty much are the definition of new money. Unless you want to argue they're just the Purple Browns.

I'd say no on both Bucs and Ravens. Nothing memorable for the Bucs until 2001. They won last year, but Brady will always be remembered as a Patriot.

Not enough years in existence for the Ravens, like you said, but they're on a good track.
