Thought this might be an interesting look at offensive scoring production vs upcoming opponents: (Sorry about the spacing)

I think when it comes to sweat and young those enormous price tags to resign them appear to be overblown . At this point none are worth more then 25 mil tops and that 35 to 40 mil figure is straight up hyperbole

Then you have the. Let them walk crowd who now see Shaka Khan , toohill and smith Williams as the ultimate cheap replacements. Until you need a pass rush .

The depth at d/line and o/line are pluses for this team and we shouldn’t discard them for the grass is greener on the other side plan that’s marked the Snyder era

You know how it works Breed, QBs get too much credit and too much blame. All works hand in hand as I mentioned in another thread ... football 101. Teams win, not individuals. It is good to see how all of those parts worked last week and I hope work again Monday.
All too true. That said, I'm still not convinced. While my thoughts on how the Skins finish this year aren't as bleak as say 4 weeks ago. I'm now thinking they'll finish similar to last year. Be just successful enough to fuck off their draft position putting them in that area where getting an immediate impact player is unlikely. I know you've said you wished they could've drafted Parsons. He looks like he's gonna be a terror for years. Jamin's no scrub or anything and may well turn into a stud down the road, but damn the Skins could've used a great LB the first 5 or 6 weeks of the season in the worst way. I don't know what it is with this team, regardless of the coaching staffs. They just can't seem to put together even a half-ass decent start of the season to save their lives. They start off habitually behind the 8 ball and the level of incompetence they displayed this year, both on the field and in coaching was shockingly stupid. OK, I get it, last year might have been a bit flukey and heads may've been too big coming into this season. That still doesn't explain the lack of adjustments coaching-wise or letting players who clearly were detrimental to the team to continue to play while other players who had proven themselves sat the bench. And then literally out of nowhere. They look like a competent team with better than decent playing and coaching. And no, I'm not giving Taylor the props for that as he was fuckin up just like damn near everyone else.

The team that's played the last 2 weeks could easily be 6-4, 7-3, maybe better this year imo. And I can't front I thought they would be much closer to 7-3 than 4-6 at this point as I was hollerin as many as 12 wins before the season started. With this year being the last year of my fandom for the team. Maybe I was thinkin too much with my heart. I wasn't thinking Super Bowl or bust, but it would be nice to see the last remnant of the Washington Redskins go out on a strong note with a winning record, playoff appearance and maybe, possibly, a playoff win. I'm still hopeful, but its gonna take more than 2 decent weeks of football before I start getting school girl giddy about it.

At this point it being necessary to re-sign them at all could be overblown. Last I looked some cats drafted in the3 7th rd named Smith-Williams and Toohill both have as many or more sacks than Young.

I side with those who feel the skins are about to break our hopes like usual, but if Terry goes off and the skins win again....
I'm going to start believing they will MAKE the playoffs. I need curtis samuel to at least be available to be a decoy, and Logan Thomas doing work too

For me it's not such whether they get in or not. I just hate watching meaningless games in December.

For the record I am not saying we are going to the playoffs. Just trying to make the point that ot is late November and the Skins are still playing meaningful games.

Logan back would be huge for Taylor as a safety valve when things break down.
