Many teams have issues. Not EVERY 3rd rookie on their first contract starts moaning and complaining and forcing a trade. Gase was not his only issue.

Go back and read the link I posted about the salary cap issue #803
Gase was the issue. The Jets were a shitshow and Gase never should have been made coach. Multiple reports of players saying he was not qualifed to perform as an NFL head coach.
There is a reason why several players have fled and/or tried to flee Houston in recent years: because they are an organization being ran by an owner who is appointing non-football and/or incompetent individuals to management positions. The Jets have been one of those types of organizations in recent years.
At this point Adam Gase can't even get hired to clean a locker room in the NFL. He went from NFL head coach to high school offensive coordinator for a reason. He was a trainwreck. I don't blame any player that wanted to get away from him.

I think I get your drift but your first paragraph is barely english.

The Jets have been a wreck before, during and after Gase.

Adams was a holdout. We can stop debating he hasn't been a distraction on both teams he has signed with. Like I said give it two years he'll be complaining again.

Should've read "not EVERY 3rd "year" rookie.

How was he a distraction to the Seahawks? He was at every practice. He was at the meetings. He was there chatting with the coaches and his teammates. He just didn't participate in the physical drills.

It was a standard contract negotiation procedure in which he didn't participate in drills where he could get hurt. Everyone is aware of how this works. Duane Brown is currently doing the same thing. He isn't a distraction to anyone. In fact, he is giving advice and explaining techniques to the younger guys.

Yes, he was a distraction on the Jets.
No, he has not been a distraction for the Seahawks. Just some press clippings from offseason reporters looking for a story and you have gone out of your way to see something that isn't even there in your never ending quest to try to degrade any and everything Seattle and Seahawks related.

You're hoping for INTs? Really?

The window has narrowed. RW is getting older. No new real talent over the past few drafts. Last year three picks I feel the 6th round OT may have been their best pick.

No first next year. Six picks I believe? spread out between the 2nd and 7th. Rookie contracts are what keep teams alive and under the cap.
Yes hope. Can't be thinking the ship is sinking cause of 1 signing. Sure the window has narrowed a bit but there's still a good amount of time to get back to the SB. Curious to see what the new offense will look like. I get the rookie contracts help the cap but sometimes you have to spend big on really good player from time to time. They have 7 picks and PC/JS need to hit on at least 3 or 4. Like I said, we'll know in 2 to 3 years if this contract turned out well or a bust.

Keep drinking the blue and green kool aid. I'm sure you were on that kept telling us Sherman and ET weren't distractions either.

Yes, keep telling yourself vets and rookies alike love sweating and running laps while others sit on the sidelines, not injured, giving advice, whinning about getting paid more then the guy at every practice. Not sure how much organized athletics you've played. No one enjoys this scenario except for the selfish guy holding out.

As I've said, give it two years. We can debate it again, when he's not being a distraction.

Same broken record.

Harry's #s coming out of college shamed DKs. My quote came roughly 10 games into their NFL careers. Even after I've said I and BB made a mistake you cling to this. It's all you got.

You keep doing you.

If Adams preforms, the contract is worth it. If not, than it's a bust.
Let this year play out. Steep price of 2 1st round picks. One of those 1st round picks was to receive a 1st round pick, so I see it as trading ONE 1st round pick, that the Seahawks would have traded anyway, for the 45th pick, then taken a guy who was projected to go 125th. So, I LOVE the trade.

Harry compared to Metcalf. He really said that? LOL.

Not just compared. Argued that they were essentially the same player. It was something.

So all you have is a "feeling" and a hatred of the Seahawks to back up your total bs nonsense.

Let's try this again: Facts: Adams wasn't a distraction to the Seahawks. It was a standard contract negotiation. He was at the practice field everyday interacting with his teammates. His contract actually freed up money to help extend Duane Brown.

Your fake narrative is weak and delusional. You have zero evidence to back up anything so you just make stuff up and hope and pray for bad things to happen because those horrible 12 fans were mean to you once.
If it wasn't so redundant after a decade of this nonsense from you, I might actually have a little sympathy for your pathetic, hate-driven ramblings.

So it's a fact he wasn't a distraction? Why because you said so? Talk about fake narratives.

His teammates have been busting their balls for months. They're all thrilled I'm sure Adams held out and took more $ from others potential contract. Their D looked lost out there against the Broncos.
2nd string against 2nd. 3rd against 3rd it didn't matter.

As I've said all along, keep paying these type whiners top $. Keep having no depth. Keep going one and done or less.

Those are facts.

Try just once to stop drinking the colored kool aid and be just a tad subjective.

No, not my word. Actual reports about what is going on in camp as opposed to your uninformed making things up. Your supposed "facts" are delusion and have no basis in reality.

All reports are that his Seahawk teammates love his energy and intensity, and say it in infectious on the field. He has been at all of the practices, and interacting with everyone there. Not a single hint of anyone having a problem with it.

Is everyone pissed at Duane Brown too? Because he has been doing the same thing: Holding out during contract negotiations, but at camp interacting with everyone and mentoring the younger OL guys.

Why would anyone take your perspective on anything Seahawks seriously? You admitted long ago that you are completely biased against literally everything Seattle and Seahawks' related. Now just make things up and hope for disaster to strike. It is all rather pathetic.

Lol @ your preseason game comments. The Seahawks have played essentially none of their starters last week and only moved a few rotation and guys in position battles this week. They only ran a very limited selection of plays, and had only their 3rd and 4th string QBs the game (neither of which will make the team). PC obviously gives 2 shits about winning these games and the vast majority of these guys will be victims of the big cutdown next week.

Lol! Keep on trying NWPF.

His contract isn't nearly as you claim it is. Read the thread. He actually is making $4.86 million LESS than he was scheduled to this year, which will be used for Duane Brown's extension. So it is the opposite of your claim. The very good LT will be on the field BECAUSE of Adams' contract.

Oh, and it will be 3 years before contract talks are necessary, and it will be the Seahawks that will initiate them due to the base salary, not Adams due to the base salary. Again, maybe you should actually address the contract details instead of just making stuff up.

"Cancerous"?? No. His teammates love him. Try again.
This still going? Is he going to get traded again before this thread dies?

Yeah and college is not the nfl. There biletnikoff winners who went 6th round . Systems, conferences etc play way into college stats. Many including myself were mauled for saying nkeal harry couldnt separate.

that argument of college numbers requires much more depth.

The narrative from the Seahawks camp was the same with the Sherman and Thomas issues. We kept telling you and the others, were there is smoke their is usually fire. That smoked turned into an inferno.

Players don't discuss other players contracts in public. Do you really want us to believe everyone was happy busting their ass while others sat on the sidelines. Come on man.

Depth is, has been and will continue to be an issue. Buy more lipstick.

When guys are coming out of college all you have to compare are their numbers, scouts and tape. You hope you make the right choice. NE obviously made the wrong choice. They've never scouted WRs well for whatever reason?

Yet I see you have zero facts to refute what I've said?

Sherm and ET both became problems. Both had issues with coaches. Both saw their way out of town. Just like so many non-12s told you. FACT

When was the last time you heard another player talking about someone else's negotiations?

Depth is Seattle's downfall. FACT

What color lipstick do you prefer? I'll order you a Costco sized case.
