Game Thread: Week 4: Seahawks @ Giants Monday Night

The Seahawks are meeting the Giants for the second consecutive season, having beaten them 27-13 in Seattle.

Pete Carroll’s team is 5-0 all time at MetLife Stadium, including their only Super Bowl title in franchise history.

Three of the five wins have come against the Giants.

This Giant team seems to go as S. Barkley goes... Hawks need to keep Jones from making big plays with his legs... Especially on 3rd down, which is the Hawks nemesis... Should be a good game overall... On paper - the Hawks should win but as Chris Berman would say, "That's why they play the game"

Barkley likely out and the Giants have their one and only talented offensive lineman out. This means Seattle will register 0 sacks while Jones throws for 325 yards and rushes for 81 yards (with a 50 or so long) and it likely comes down to a field goal on who will win. Myers that FUCK will miss it, it'll go into OT, where the Giants will secure it with a field goal.

Should be a good game for most of the Country since nobody cares about the Giants or Seahawks, really..

Seahawks declared DB Coby Bryant, CB Tre Brown, CB Artie Burns, FB Nick Bellore, OT McClendon Curtis, OT Charles Cross, and G Ben Brown inactive for Week 4 against the Giants.
Most notably, both tight end Will Dissly and tight end Noah Fant are absent from the inactives list, which should allow the Seahawks to play primarily from 12-personnel again in Week 4. The snap rates amongst the three primary tight ends have been mostly split evenly, but the bigger news is the expected low snap rates for rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley is inactive for Week 4 against the Seahawks.
Barkley came into the game with a doubtful designation but has now been ruled out for the contest. Expect Matt Breida to be the primary running back for the Giants against the Seahawks, backed up by Gary Brightwell. Also inactive for the Giants are S Bobby McCain, S Gervarrius Owens, T Andrew Thomas, and DL Jordon Riley
