The Thunder are 22M over the cap including cap holds, but that drops quickly once they renounce Hayward (and likely all of their FA). Missed the cap holds the first time around.

Indeed, and that your DPOY level PF/C can run point and the stars are all unselfish and your coach creates a pass crazy motion offense. The pieces fitting so well is a big reason why that team was one of the greatest ever assembled.

I would say the second title tends to validate the first and is usually needed in these debates.

But I agree in general that how good a team is the year prior or the year after doesn’t really have a lot to do with how good they were in 1 specific season.

Celtics only had one season of fully healthy Kg so you’re comparing apples to sheet metal after that
