Group texting a few of my friends back in Ontario this afternoon, all the same age as me, and they all either have their first shot or are getting it next week.

Also doing pop up clinics in the neighbourhood my old office is in since it’s considered high risk. Anyone who works there can bring a business card or paystub and go.

This is lame.

Not sure where the AZ is at age-wise. might be luck of the draw on supply right now.

Theyre (getting) flush with pfizer supply so this is ramping up big time the next couple weeks. AZ is pretty much done as far as supply goes according to dbh today and the province isnt likely getting much more.

My wife legit wanted to fly down to seattle this week and go to a mariners game after i told her they were giving out free vaccines at the games ... and then visit my wifes sisters family down there ... so friday 7pm cant come soon enough for me as 15 months isnt nearly enough time apart from my wifes sisters horrible kids !

Theyre prioritizing areas here labelling them as “high transmission” ... but these arent actually neighbourhoods with high case numbers ... just the potential to have high numbers due to the demographics in them

Half of everyone over 30 year olds in the city of vancouver (entire east side) can now get their vaccine ... same goes for Burnaby (entire south slope) ... huge swaths of surrey too

I was also thinking I'll take a second shot of UK AZ if the Brits have some to spare.

to be clear, when i got my first shot, they set up an appointment for the next AZ shot in 16 weeks.
so i have that appointment set already.

just given the changing landscape, I'm curious if that will still stand (both timing and type)

4 months is what my parents were told when they got their pfizer shots ... everyone was being told that

Im gonna guess people who got az will end up getting 2 of the mrna vaccines. Pfizer ceo said publically (again) everyone will need a 3rd shot booster so ....
