Columbus is tight. It's one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. My wife and I bought our house in March 2018 and by this time next year, it's expected to have increased in value by over 20% of what we bought it for.

It's not like Cleveland doesn't have some nice parts to it. You can sell me on weather sucking but the south has every bit the shitty areas that most any Urban city center has.

Last weekend, I went to a small music festival, grocery store, gym, brewpub, bar, and a neighborhood Christmas festival, all while walking, and taking one short Uber (could have walked, but didn't feel like it at 2:30 am).

I can jump in my car and be to any of that in 5-10 minutes.

That is one big drawback about going downtown when you live in the suburbs. If I have even two drinks I don't get behind the wheel. So that means I either have to take a $30 Uber downtown and back or leave my car downtown - which I'm not a fan of.
