I voted 0% to 25% I really think retirement has to be on his mind. It will be hard for him to pull the trigger. See you in the booth Tom.

In October I had it 85 he stays, 10 he retires, 5 he goes elsewhere. I think maybe those first two numbers have shifted a bit but not as much as you. I still lean toward 75+. He might not love this season as much but I think he still loves playing in and of itself (see the 17 yard run yesterday). Plus I still believe he sees the prolonging of his career as building on his post-career plans for TB12. I’ll still be pretty surprised if he’s not an NFL QB in September 2020

Hmm interesting.

To me he just seems to have lost his passion it reads in his body language more, a lot more than ever before. It would be real hard for me to see him in another uniform.

His father was on some show last week and said that Tom will "most likely" NOT be a Patriot in 2020.

He was extremely careful not to even mention a possibility of where. He did say that Tom wants to play somewhere where he can be successful with a veteran group of WRs.

My question.......Was he trying to get Kraft to get involved in resigning TB or was he telling everyone that Tom is a goner?

Well you can't blame him

AB Gone + D Thomas Gone +J Gordon Gone= TB Gone?

50/50 - He may reconsider after looking over the offensive roster 2020. As of now, he's a 42yo QB that's leading the league in attempts and running for his life. It's going to be even uglier if he's doing the same thing in 2020 @43.

Personally I interpreted Tom, Sr.’s remarks as saying he think the Pats would clearly be Tom’s preference.

Well with no contract he hogties the organization if he does not make an announcement prior to FA and the draft. If they don't know don't you feel the Pats have to move on without him?

His father has spouted bullshit before that never comes to fruition.

I think he's a bit of a media whore.

50 to 75%

The next couple weeks may tell us a lot more. Hell who knows NE might pull out some more fairy dust and win #7? Then all bets are off.

I could see Brady staying on a one or two year deal. He, BB and RK sit down and talk about what next years team may look like taking into account players on IR, possible FA aquistions at least by position and draft stratedgy. Could be enough to keep TB12 in a NE uni?

I think TB would like to win at least one more SB, preferably with the Pats, but elsewhere if he feels the talent is not there.

You didn’t give “Manhattan Clam Chowder” as an option ... which is what his restaurant will be featuring next year ...

I figure he’s been pickin’ his time and then sticking around this year when the team had that batch of receivers set for him at the beginning of the season ... otherwise, last Spring woulda been the best time to retire ... maybe the idea of shootin’ the shit with Gronk everyday added to the reasonin’ ...

I believe a part of the frustration visible on his face every week has to do with kickin’ his ass for not leaving in a cloud of glory ...

but he’d be whacked to go to any other team

Going to another team would see odd to me as well, he loves the game so I think this is a very hard decision for him to make.

I think he’s smart enough to know it’s all he’s good for ... and I mean that as a complement to Brady ... this has got to be tough on him
