Do you still believe that Washington is one of the more desirable destinations for head coach candidates? WHY??

I voted no...but not at this time.

The new HC is inheriting the worst ranked defense and the #23 ranked offense.

The team is clearly in rebuilding mode and to some, that is a turn off.

In 2 or 3 years, yes, I think it will be much more desirable given the infusion of talent and stability in ownership and the front office.

Perhaps it's me but if memory serves me well, only a week or two has passed since there was a lot of rejoicing because it seemed as if so many thought that it was T.H.E. most desirable coaching destination!

I voted yes b/c of the #2 pick and the cap room. Yes, it's a rebuild and it comes with all those headaches, and it has a first time GM. but this job was supposedly #2 on the list behind the Chargers for HC jobs.

It is the most attractive location from a football standpoint, if you want to build something that is yours. We have the number two pick, an extra second and third, and the most available cap space.

If you go beyond football, you have to work for Peters and Harris. I don’t know what it is like to work for either of them.

According to whom Dean? You need to understand the difference between fact and opinion. Were all candidates given a ranking sheet and they all scored WSH as 2nd? It's a ranking that is not valid. People like you fall for it.

Johnson also withdrew like Slowik. He wanted to remain with the Lions instead of tackling a rebuild. Its obvious Johnson was the first choice like i said. I agree with you that if Quinn was the 2nd choice, he should be the HC right now. I don't understand the wait. It was a widely spread opinion that we were the 2nd best job out their b/c of the draft picks and cap room. It wasn't just the PR office like eaglesnut said. IMO other than JH and MAc, not really impressed with the other new HC's.

I just read the BB does not want full control. Is this true?

The question was if we were a desirable location for head coaching candidates.

The answer at this point is no.

Our good friend Dean believes we are because of an alleged ranking of HC locations.
