HOT RUMOR BUZZ Denver attempting to trade for @Draft Crazy to man the QB role. Says he has experience observing pro style system in Iowa City and already has a wicked grizzled playoff beard.

If you used the term " reluctant " over " refuse " I would be more inclined to consider your take. You do know the difference between the two,right ?

My apologies for using too strong of a word. I think he is like Alex Smith and doesn't either trust his arm or doesn't trust what he is seeing so struggles to pull the trigger on the deep passes. Paxton has that issue on timing routes where he doesn't always trust what he is seeing. Makes him a hair late on throws where he is trying to throw WR's open instead of waiting for them to get open then throwing the football. This also causes him to sometimes hold onto the ball and either take a sack or have an errant throw because he hasn't done well with resetting his feet to make a throw.

i was told denver did kick tires when both qbs blew early in camp but nothing substantial came about it and team moving forward with the 2 they have

yeah he told me that too. my other guy said denver touched on aj like day 1 camp. im guessing maybe it was just talked about but not pursued. teams always engaging interest and value of their players.

Latest is that Bengals and Broncos talked AJ McCarron recently. The Bengals asking price was too much as it has been all off-season. The trade appears dead for now due to the asking price. Elway denies it not wanting to ruin the little confidence Siemian and Lynch might have left.

Ill follow our brass. We did win a Super Bowl after we gave up early on another QB. Have a little respect for the people making the decisions. They see a lot more then we do sitting behind our computers. If we give up, I trust!

Would it be disappointing? Of course it would.

If they are really that bad at Drafting a QB fire ones self . Tebow was not one bit their fault .

To give up before giving a season to lynch I would be really pissed ! It takes year 4 for me to give up and If I see a reason I would wait year 5 .

That's not todays NFL for ya buddy. Teams don't wait on a QB for 4 years before moving on. Everyone is in WIN now mode with the contracts being tossed around. Not many teams are good at drafting QB's to be honest with ya. Have you paid attention to how bad the QB play is over the last two decades? Back in the old day, bad teams had good QB's. Today, good teams don't even have good QB's. Ill place some blame on the college systems teams run today. QB's are so underdeveloped coming into the NFL and combine that with teams not being able to wait on QB's from a financial stand point in WIN now mode.
