Audi wants to buy a team. Porsche just wants to supply engines.

So Audi was sniffing around McLaren who say no.

And Porsche will align with RB.

Speaking of RB, Adrian Newey has finally come clean and said Max was a bad boy for brake testing Lewis at Jeddah last year. And also that Max was naughty running Lewis wide in Brazil.

But he equals it out with Silverstone. Never mind that one occurred while racing for a corner and another was a deliberate attempt to end an opponent's race.

If one does not have an idea just how petty and political F-1 has developed into, here's a firsthand account of what F-1 is doing to Andretti Autosport's attempt to buy the Sauber Team and what kind of back-handed bullshit they are running Michael Andretti through just because he wants to field a team in F-1 and he is an American. Interesting how this article is released on the week-end F-1 has decided to expand their American appearances to now 2 per year.

Lewis off the hook for bling.

I'm not a bling kind of guy myself. But one man's ceiling is another man's floor.

For the Chief of FIA (a Saudi!!) to be talking about how the drivers should be setting a good example for youth is poppycock.

Ever listen to Lewis? He's a nice young man to my ear. Well spoken, considerate. Stands for issues. And he's a black man in a white sport which if Grand Poobah wants to expand in India and China is probably a good thing.

The fact he wears some piercings and tattoos bothers me not.

If my milk white daughter brought him home I'd be OK with it.

There was an interview with Damon Hill who mentioned that it was never a problem before. He himself wears a St Christopher medal that was his fathers and as he said "that was never coming off of me, ever".

He said that F1 drivers have to sign all kinds of waivers to race. They can't sure tire manufacturers for tire failure, fuel suppliers for fires, etc. They accept the risk. So why not just have them accept the risk of wearing jewelry? He said it's a strange hill for the FIA to fight on. I agree.

It's is getting really easy to strongly dislike Sulayem

Senna frequently discussed his religion and his beliefs.

Prost, Stewart and Lauda pushed the sport about safety all the time. Lauda organized a STRIKE over conditions at certain tracks.

James Hunt is a big reason F1 left South Africa with his protests over apartheid.

This guy is a fucking moron, and even worse for the sport than Bernie and Max combined.

I absofuckinglutely hate posers and those there because they were told to be there.

Sometimes Martin gets a good one.

When I was paying major $$ to take myself and my 2 heirs to the Vancouver Indy's every year but the first and the last the first 2 years involved the pit walk.

A supreme waste of time. Cars in pits?? Drivers somewhere else. The only 3 drivers who made themselves available were JV, Paul Tracy and Ross Bentley, local guy on a really bad team at the time but willing to stand and talk to all concerned. Happy as fuck to be there.

Also good for pit walks were Trans Am guys. Genetilotzzi in particular was there for pics and giving away autographed damaged bits.

I soon learned, fuck the pit walk through. Nothing to see here. Except at the 2nd pit where you can see Sunbeam Tigers and Nissan 510s, etc for the support races and the lesser levers of the weekend. That's where you get interaction.
