Seriously our defense was nothing to brag about today. Give credit to Rodgers for that. But for Wilson to come back and not be rattled is special. MAybe we see some heroics like that from Luck in a few minutes.

I wish my defense could be put into those types of positions and only give up 22 points. Green Bay scores 35+ points against 90% of NFL defenses yesterday with the field position and huge number of opportunities they were given.

The Packer's scored 9 points in quarters 2-4 (and one of those field goals came on an 11 yard drive).

Holding Rodgers to 22 points after turning the ball over five times is an accomplishment. Don't discount your defense in order to prop up Wilson...

This. All those stops inside the 5 kept the interception machine to even have a chance. Then the kicker throws a TD, they get an onside kick and Russell is elite. Please. Russell made a lob pass across the field that should of been picked or knocked down at the least. The OT pass was impressive but he shouldn't of had that chance.

He is still just a good QB with an elite defense, good o-line, and running game around him.

I would take the good OL part out of there. Their OL can't pass block (whenever I have seen them at least but they always seem to have injuries too) and that does hurt Wilson. But yeah he isn't elite. That is why Seattle is in the bottom 5 in passing yards in the league since Wilson has gotten there.

Wait a minute. Is Rodgers elite? I think most would say yes. But in this game he was awful. A QB rating of 53.8 while being gifted incredible field position. So do we say Rodgers isn't elite because of this game? Because that is essentially what you are saying about Wilson.

Wilson, like Rodgers, needs to be judged on his career stats and good luck proving Wilson hasn't been elite in his first 3 years. His ONLY knock is passing yards, which he more than makes up for in rushing yards. If you were to compare Wilson and Brady's first 3 years Wilson is actually better in nearly every statistical category. Brady beats Wilson only in passing yards and even that is very close. Time to give Wilson credit where its due. Yes he played a career bad game, but Rodgers was no better. Look at their stat lines and tell me I'm wrong. Wilson threw more picks but beat Rodgers in every other QB stat.
