i keep asking you to show metrics to show how im wrong. math can do that.

I already did twice. They won 25% of their games without him. They won 63% with him. That's is verifiable, statistical fact. But keep denying it, buddy.

Lol

Pretty soon this argument will turn into “Tebow was the mort important player on the 10th drive of the game in week 12.”

kaepernick has jumped way past "media" to movement". tebow was a goofy christian trying to play sports. that was media.

i dont recall tebow suing for a job.
Haha! As if that has anything to do with whether or not they're media distractions.:L

Now you're just intentionally being obtuse. The only difference between the 5-20 Broncos that had the #2 pick in the 2011 NFL draft and the 7-4 Broncos that made the playoffs was Tim Tebow. You suggest Tebow didn't have a significant role in the Broncos turnaround. I have proved you wrong.

Moving on...

Tebow was given chances by multiple teams, and they wanted him to try a different position. That is NOTHING like Kaep's situation. What is his distraction, his religion? That's the equivalent of reverse-racism BS.
He would have made an awesome fullback

I said the reasons of their distractions are very different if you get specific. But they're the same if you just specify that they were media distractions. Don't only read certain parts of what I said.

Being that generalized negates any value of the statement though.

No it doesn't. You could say two players are both great or bad players, but for different reasons. Which is very possible even though it's generalizing. It doesn't make the statement any less true. Just like my statement.

Being a distraction for being a QB that can't throw or being a QB with political views can't be generalized as the same and hold any value. TEBOW CAN'T THROW.

Whether Tebow can throw or not isn't the argument. Tebow was a distraction for his religious beliefs and Kaepernick was a distraction for his political beliefs, period. Saying Tebow was a "distraction" because he can't throw is just stupid. And that's not saying he COULD throw, it's just saying it's stupid to call him a distraction for that reason.

Tebow's religious beliefs were not a distraction; 86% of the league is Christian as of last year. That was a re-characterization by the Tebow faithful that wouldn't admit he couldn't throw. I think you just backed into the similarity between the two; this is like branding Kaep's kneeling as being against the troops instead of the real target.

86% of the league didn't kneel and put bible verses on their eye black. Nobody openly showed their Christianity as much as Tebow. So you can't even begin to compare him to anyone else. I'm not condemning him for it, I'm just saying he clearly showed it much more so than anyone else and the media turned it into a big deal, etc as well...thus THAT is why he was a distraction. Just like why Kaepernick is considered a distraction but the players that are still kneeling for the anthem are not considered a distraction. Just like the other Christians aren't distractions.

I'm glad to see the Jags are finally giving Kessler a chance. I honestly don't even expect much from him but they clearly didn't even believe in Bortles anymore, so why wouldn't you at least give Kessler a shot?
