Where is Canada holding camp, and when are they getting to Columbus for the exhib? Anyone know? I know that Canada is practicing at NWA's practice rink next Friday at 11:30 (game day). But wondering when they are traveling in.

See, my son's favorite goalie (this week) is Carey Price and his high school practices on that same ice. So, he's not taking any chances and is wearing his Canadiens T-shirt for practice starting today in the hopes that Carey sees him in it. By next Friday, that shirt is gonna be NASTY.

He even asked me to get my old Roy jersey re-plated as Price so he can wear that on the ice to increase the chances he gets seen. He actually wants to skip school next Friday to go to Canada's practice.



Goalies are weird.

I can't wait until his favorite goalie transfers back to Bob. Much more likely to be a chance encounter at that rink with him or MagicKorp.

Canada's training camp is in Ottawa. They'll probably head down to Columbus the day before the game (which would be Thursday).

I am also 75% sure Carey Price is going to somehow be removed from the team before then (I just can't see the Habs not pulling every string possible to get him out of this), so your kid better get his Holtby jersey ready.

Yeah, that's the gist of it. Zetterberg has a knee injury and Backlund will replace him. Training hard but doesn't know exactly when he'll be back.

Geez, if there were any doubts of throwing my complete support behind Team North America, this news seals the deal.

/Yes, I know Perry was part of Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics, but that's a different situation compared to this money making gimmicky event.
