Russian ans CZE defense corps reeks of fromage.
I can't even think of any Russian to add that would be a big improvement.
Sweden is deep as hell.

Some chatter on the cesspool this morning about adding Tanev to the Team Canada defense corps. Call me a homer (I've been called worse), but I don't think the defensive capabilities of Tanev outweigh the offensive contributions that a guy like TJ Brodie brings to the table (and TJ is a pretty good defensive defenseman as well).

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......yeah, there should be *zero* questioning of Brodie being on the team. Obviously this shows they're pretty on par defensively, but the offensive contribution can't be ignored. Brodie is rock solid.

The US team will only be less likable than Russia with Voynov...except the US has Kane too. Torts is coach, Burke is "building" it, they put Abdelkader, Callahan, Dubinsky, JvR, Wheeler, Kesler...basically everyone except Kane or Pavelski ahead of Kessel. And they put Erik and Jack Johnson on before Shattenkirk. Just so dumb. NA team is just fun.

I haven't seen them mentioned yet but Tyler Johnson up front and Justin Faulk on D seem like foolish omissions for Team USA too. I think I have a lot of friends and former teammates in the US that are going to be cheering for Team Peach Fuzz.
