His athleticism peaked and crashed years ago. he is still a good passer but like ive said many times his speed and agility masked the problems his height creates.

putting the defense on the field for 45 minutes of game time hurts. It's remarkable how much his drop in athleticism hurt the Seahawks defense and turned it into trash for the last 4 years.
second half of 2020 he shit it up, and didnt play that well last year either even when he wasnt injured. sure, holding onto the ball and taking sacks instead of throwing it away preserves his completion percentage and his rating but the eye test tells a different story.Well, if it peaked and crashed years ago - then obviously your theory about Wilson's need to be fast and agile to cover his "short"-comings is false, as his production hasn't crashed in the years since this supposedly happened.

You think the Seahawks defense giving up 26 1st downs despite the Bears only getting 4.6 yards per play might have been a factor? How bout the Bears converting 7 3rd downs?

Well, you know, Russell is wholly responsible for every loss - but only tangentially connected to any win.

And when we won 12 games the year before? Or does that no longer matter?
Yeah, this is the crap that drives me crazy. If you want to say it was time to move on from Russ, fine. I completely disagree but I could be mistaken. It is possible that it was Russ holding back the Seahawks. It just defies all common sense.
So the 23 points the defense gave up to Jared Goff isn't factor?
or the 14 pressures/hits on the 27 throws he actually got off (and the 5 sacks for the ones he didn't).
He played poorly, but the Rams played him tough like they always do.
I agree he's not the same athlete now at 33 vs when he was 26. This is sort of a "father time is undefeated" type statement though. Like a couple others have said, his decline in speed/mobility hasn't kept him from still being one of the most productive and efficient QBs in the league the last 4+ years. He probably won't ever rush for 600+ yards in a season again, but I bet he has more seasons of 40+ TDs, 4k+ yards, and 100+ passer rating. His athleticism peaked and crashed years ago. he is still a good passer but like ive said many times his speed and agility masked the problems his height creates.
Not at all. Guess we are going to hear you complaining about Russ getting traded for the foreseeable future then.So Tyreek Hill is making Russ look like a bargain basement player.
