Great win.

I think this week is a reminder that even after this team gives us a dud it’s still the most entertaining we’ve seen since 2015. With a new rookie QB games like Sunday’s are going to happen. But this defense is insane.

Nix looked ok, still has fundamental issues but seems to have a good head on his shoulders. The D is great

I've seen a lot of young QBs make the mistake of seeing two receivers open and in the process of throwing the ball - it lands between both of them. Nix also overthrows balls early in games - like he is too supped up. Yeah - and then there is the footwork.

This was actually the case of a defense being so bad it was actually good. He probably couldn’t believe both people were wide open and so while he was launching the ball to the first guy he saw the second guy wide open and lost focus.

It's amazing how little pain defenses have for Bo Nix running down field. He either gets out of bounds or down before anyone hits him. They keep records about how many yards after contact - Nix may set the record for how many yards without much contact at all.

Penner down in the locker room to give Sean Payton a game ball for the win - caught my attention. The players, I thought, showed a lot of love for their coach in that gesture by the owner.
Sean Payton has this entire giant football machine at his disposal, and he is loving life and the culture on this team is fire!

Bo would have had a great game had all the balls that he threw Decent were caught.

I agree. I do hope that Bo works on his slide technique a little more though

I love that Nix does a great job not taking unnecessary hits. Jayden Daniels is having an incredible rookie season but I do worry about his ability to hold up long-term with how often he tries to get those extra yards at the expense of his own body.

As for the game...obviously when you win by 3 TD's your team has done a great job. I don't care about the injuries on the other side. Not like the Broncos have been the healthiest lately and had some guys just coming off IR trying to get their sea legs under them as well. Nice thing is with this 10-day break and those players getting some work the Broncos are looking really healthy heading into the meat of our schedule.

Have to give it to the defense in this one especially Barton for such an incredible showing. Pressure galore from the front-4 and the back end even without Surtain looked much more ready this time around compared to the Chargers game where they looked lost once Surtain went down.

Offensively Nix still has a long ways to go. I do like that they mixed in some called QB runs. Makes even when defenses load up the box the run game something that can still have success. And talking about success Forsyth has probably won the job moving forward because of his ability in the run game to get to the second level. A lot of our long run plays were in part because Forsyth got to a spot that Wattenburg just cannot get to.

Also good to see Vele and Franklin both making an impact. If this team is going to be playoff bound it will because a couple of those young weapons step up. Nix absolutely has to improve as this game should have been an even bigger blow out if he doesn't miss some of those throws and then even a few of the completed ones could have been bigger if he was on target and didn't make players have to reach for a pass. I expect though as he gets more comfortable this will become less and less of an issue.

The Broncos have David Shaw working full time putting together an ongoing - always updated data base of players on every practice squad. This front office investment will make the Broncos the most knowledgeable about the players on this year's practice squads - as guys they can maybe use in the future. Guys on PSs have a higher-level readiness to contribute than day three draft picks in general. It's a nice edge for the Broncos to have. What the Broncos have in that data base - also probably informs them on the potential risk of releasing a guy and signing him later.
