I expected him to gave a good season playing with Sid in 2005 but Mike Therrien yelled at him so he retired.

If a coach was ever offered the Isles job the first question I would ask. Can I scratch Matt Martin and Clutterfuck? If the answer is no, then I would willfully decline the position.

I'm not sure what to think about Roy yet from a tactical perspective but the Islanders need a coach with a little emotion to shake shit up a little and that seems to be him. I'm happy with the move. I didn't love Lambert.

I'm not sure Lamoriello at his age is capable of being a seller, but with 2 games before the deadline it could still go either way as to what they "should" do. The Larkin injury could also play a role in the decision. 5 or 6 points out with 1, 2 or 3 games in hand (depending on which team you look at) means he more than likely trying to acquire a player or two. But LTIR and/or retained salary and/or sending contracts back will need to play a role to improve the team.

Bossy's daughter gets the :finger2:

Damn I wish I knew about this auction and had an extra half mill hanging around. My childhood hero. Just a legendary goal scorer. If only he didn't have back issues. He could barely play his last year because of his back and still scored 38 goals in 63 games. Legend #22

Goals:
77-78: 53 goals rookie year
78-79: 69 goals
79-80: 51 goals
80-81: 68 goals
81-82: 64 goals
82-83: 60 goals
83-84: 51 goals (67 games)
84-85: 58 goals
85-86: 61 goals
86-87: 38 goals (63 games)

573 goals in 752 games. a goal every 1.31 games
Gretzky every 1.7 games
OV every 1.7 games
Lemieux every 1.32 games
