Here awhile back my pops told me he saw a doc and he said year to year and 1/2 to live. Told him that's bullshit. He's different and will lick this
Yesterday my dad sent me a text saying that doctor doesn't need to see him anymore. Told my dad to get out.
Prayers from around the world were solicited and I truly believe this was God's plan. For some reason my dads different hes touched so many in so many ways.
I read the text while I was waiting to pick up my son from football practice and I cried. My dad and football. There is no separating the two. I hope i can pass that camaraderie down to my children.
Third time I have tiered up over this I less than 12 hours.

Bad news is he is almost 30 pounds lighter than when he went in army. He was a runt then. In a month that chemo shit should be out of his body and maybe he can eat again. My mom has been his short order cook and it's been driving her crazy as he won't eat anything. Old coot.
