Looks like Gallagher throws a head shot after JG is down, meanwhile JG saved his ass by not waiting until one of the fighters took him out for his cheap shot on Pelech.

Amen to this. Get your best 5 out there. They were converting above their pay grade of course, but splitting them into two units sharing time has been pathetic. I'm focusing on the comment not the stat

With a plethora of cap space again, it should be another exciting free agency period for the Islanders. I expect 4 or 5 top line scorers and defenders at a bare minimum.

It's time to break up the identity line and move on. Matt Martin is just not an NHL player at this point and hasn't been for a couple of years. Love Clutter, but I think his time is done as well. Cizikas is still a huge well rounded asset to the team but showed this past year he doesn't need to be with those other two guys to contribute. Time to fill out the 4th line with cheap young kids with a possible future and stop blocking them with borderline NHL players

^ Penguins are trending on twitter and the two top items are PO Joseph 25th d-day and the opening day against the Rags....

It's not the greatest but it's better. Plus with Sorokin of the prior year the Islanders would have been a lot better last season. He is by far the key to their success. He was amazing in 22-23.
