Will LeBron ever be seen as better than Kobe in the eyes of Lakers fans?

No you just have a different opinion. I agree with Jordan, Magic, Bird, and Shaq. Lets see who else agrees with me.

Go ahead and find an all time top 10 list (or top 50...100, etc) from a reputable source that has Kobe ahead of Lebron.

KG makes good points....doesn't mean he thinks Kobe is better. where I think you really lost it for me here was when you said "Lebron lacks instinct and on-court elegance and style."

Now admittedly when I first saw this was thinking you said intelligence and not elegance (elegance...really?) but either way this is kooky talk. Kobe has better instincts yet was somewhat of a ball hog and incredibly inefficient shooter?

Garnett is right, Kobe is definitely closer to MJ than LeBron is, that's not news to us. Kobe was basically a slightly lesser MJ in how he played. LeBron is more like a bigger, better scoring and defending Magic Johnson with almost twice as long a career as an all star level player.

KG can't tell me who I should or shouldn't compare though LOL. They are indeed different in style, and both all time greats, but the facts show LeBron did more in his career than Kobe.

And Iverson is right, Kobe is one of the greatest players of all time. He's just not quite at the level of LeBron (or Kareem or Jordan)

The point is everyone, that people can have differing opinions over who is better Kobe or James. Its not as cut and dry as some of you think. And so when I said Kobe was better I was taken aback by how hard you all came at me because I knew what all of these NBA stars and coaches have said in the past.
Kobe was a great player as is James, its not criminal to think one of them were better. And I think Kobe was better. I think some of you are too political on this issue to see things clearly.

Yes you can have any opinion you want. You can even have the opinion Larry Bird and Allen Iverson were better than both.

With LeBron vs Kobe it kind of is though. By any measure of what they did on the court, LeBron's numbers are better. Kobe can maybe be considered a more skilled defender, although LeBron could guard bigs and Kobe not so much.

Who do you think was a better QB, Aaron Rodgers or Terry Bradshaw? Like Kobe, Terry won more rings, stayed with one team, and is more likeable than Aaron. But hardly anyone would agree that Terry was a better QB. Which of them would you consider better?

Well first of all Rodgers is over rated but is still probably a better QB than Bradshaw.
