Will LeBron ever be seen as better than Kobe in the eyes of Lakers fans?

I can cut a rug with the best of them but could never compete with a Ballerina lol but once again your argument is with AI not me.
well, since the AI is not here to have a discussion and you agree with what AI said the argument would be woth you.

It's telling you agree but cannot make a case why you agree.

Just curious what do you think is a better season.....getting to the Finals and losing or not even making the Finals?
Good question, I think as a fan I'd like to see my team play as long into the post season as possible. Like my Rams this season. They competed for a shot at the NFC crown and missed it by a hair but I wasn't sad or mad. However If they failed to even reach the playoffs that would have been worse. In My Opinion.

I guess I place more weight on championships than you do. But there have been very good players who are ringless. But they are ringless for a reason. What the reasons were would say a lot about their ability.
You're missing the point again. Here, I'll try it another way:

Players who were more likeable, had more rings, stayed with one team:

Kobe Bryant, Terry Bradshaw

Players who had better statistics recording that they played their sport better:

LeBron James, Aaron Rodgers

You have posted nothing that refutes any of this. You want facts? Here's facts:

Every number listed on the top line (Summary) is better for LeBron. Every single one...except FT%. Kobe made FTs at a higher rate.

I did tell you. Lebron plays like a bull Kobe played with finesse and elegance to copy what AI said.

Maybe I was debating the other guy when I said I don't base my entire opinion on rings but its a good talking point for this discussion and debate.

cool....while it's great Kobe had 5 titles to Lebron's 4, Lebron played in 10 but Kobe only played in 7.

That said, I don't think anyone here disagrees Kobe was the more accomplished Laker.

Lets take another look at the NFL since you brought up Rodgers. A lot more great and deserving players never get a ring in the NFL and in MLB as well.
The NBA is a little different with that. It would be interesting to see how many hall of famers in each pro sport have not won championships.
Agreed, these are team sports and teams win rings not players.

We actually did this discussion for the NBA when we made our all time great list...we also asked who is the best NBA player ever to not win a ring, I think the consensus was Karl Malone with Charles Barkley right behind him.

Rings hardly matter for greatness, a useful tie breaker if needed. JaVale McGee has 3 rings. Barkley has none. Says nothing about who was better.

No that was me, I never said you did though. You're deflecting away from the point which is there is no way to say Kobe had a better career. If someone says rings, we agree that isn't what matters. What matters is the numbers I showed you. You know, the actual facts.

That;s the elegance portion which is pretty much irrelevant unless, of course, you think a ballerina is better than both.

But how about instincts? Can you offer any logic, facts or reason to show Bryant had better instincts?

I just hope you all can see that believing Kobe was better does not make me the lone ranger. I'm not alone in that opinion. And now we can part friends and agree to disagree.

That was said more elegantly than I did.

I'd really love to hear factual support on why Kobe had better instincts.
You won't be getting it from this guy, he's all over the place

I did, I offered the opinion from several players and coaches. That's not good enough for you so fine.

No one said alone in the opinion....likely many with that absurd opinion.

Before we part as friends can you explain why you believe Bryant had better instincts or just walk it back and own you think AI was off base?

Yeah, you never offered anything specific to instincts from anyone......but since you claimed you agree with AI Bryant has better instincts how about you explain why in your own words?

Or be an adult and just say you were off base?
