Hard to pinpoint a "quality" acc opponent in advance these days lol. We got unc next year
Crap shoot...I thought the Mack hire was a bust when it happened, now, who knows.

I guessing most of those are scrub on scrub. Iowa I think is 2-0 vs acc but cant really think of any big matchups other than Clemson vs OSU and Wisky vs Miami from a few years back . I think NW and Duke , Penn St and Pitt and Indiana and uva had recent seriesB1G is 17-14 vs the ACC last 5 years...and the only one that involved Clemson was their 31-0 beat down of tOSU...just sayin.

Alabama and Clemson have both earned benefit of the doubt in these situations
So not much difference at all.You know what the difference is between Texas A&M and Iowa...Texas A&M played Alabama, Clemson and Auburn, while Iowa played Iowa State, Michigan and Penn St.
How that's? The SEC is not up to par this season and Bama hasn't play anyone (yet).
Yes I agree you can only only play the games scheduled. I still stand by my opinion that the SEC isn't up to par and Bama hasn't played anyone so far this season. I don't really care about prior seasons, I'm only concerned about this season. Don't get me wrong, Bama has a damn good team and might win out, but as of now, the only SEC team they have beaten with a .500 record is Texas A&M. Yes I believe the Playoff Committee does give Bama "the benefit of the doubt".I don't know if you've noticed, but we have 5 in the top 11, and 3 ranked above anyone in the Pac-12 or Big 12 so I'm not sure I share your view. You can only play the games scheduled, we've played 8 games, won 8 and the average score is 48-15. It's also not like we are USC, we've won 5 of the last 10 Championships and we've played well in 8 of our 9 playoff appearances. Same for Clemson. In the last 5 years we've lost to exactly 0 OOC opponents not named Clemson...and Clemson has lost to 0 out of conference opponents not named Alabama...hence the reason we get the benefit of the doubt and the rest of you schlubs don't.

When did you book that game? Was Bill Clinton still in office because the last time they were “quality”.Hard to pinpoint a "quality" acc opponent in advance these days lol. We got unc next year
You have a link to that? I have never heard of anyone backing out of that game.Yes. The original opponent was suppose to be Someone else but they backed out and the game organizers stuck us with Duke. Supposedly it pissed Saban off pretty good
Only possible if PSU beats Ohio State. Alabama and LSU would beat PSU by 30
Okay fair enough, it was JMHO.You can stand wherever you like, but it doesn't make your opinion any more widely shared. We have more and higher ranked teams than any other conference.

Ok..30 May be an exaggeration but Alabam would win comfortably by at least 2TDs and the game would never be in Doubt.I think everyone is underestimating Penn St. I think it would be a much closer game than that.
Lsu is number 1 in tbe Vegas top 25 meaming vegas would have them as a favorite vs everyone on a neutral fieldRealistically speaking against Penn State it would probably be....
Alabama -14.5
LSU -7.5
