FSU did the first year of the playoff. Mostly because Watson didn't play because of injury when they played FSU that season.

Watson didn't start, Cole Stoudt did. That was Watson's true freshman year. When Cole struggled Watson came on in relief and finished the game, taking the Winston-less Noles to OT and losing on a lost fumble.
