Please feel free to agree/disagree...the first 7 have at least one championship.
I put Griffin/Kaepernick at 8 based on potential. Ryan, I put at 9 because I think he's shown us his ceiling and I don't believe ATL could win a superbowl even if they got there.
I tied Luck/Newton at 10 because they both have played extremely well offensively without a run game or defense.
I would rank Griffin 8th as a franchise QB...I personally wouldn't rate anyone than the 7 mentioned "better" than him at this time. If it wasn't for his injury history, I would probably rank him 4th in "potential"

Rogers
Brady
P.Manning
Brees
Roethlisberger
E.Manning
J.Flacco
R.Griffin/Kaepernick
M.Ryan
Luck/Newton

I see everyone is rating Flacco in the top 10 now that he has a SB ring. Honestly, I don't get it. He's a good QB, but he's not elite in my mind. I definitely wouldn't put him ahead of RG3, Kapernick, or Luck. Probably not even Ryan. If the draft were held today and every QB was available, how long do you think that RG3, Luck and Kapernick would last? I bet RG3 and Luck would be gone in the first 5 picks. So if the rating is based on who will be the top QBs in 2013, I drop Brady down and bit (he's go no receivers left), Eli drops and Cam isn't even in the conversation. My list would go something like this:

Rogers
Peyton M
Brees
Griffin
Luck
Rothlisberger
Kaepernick
Brady
Eli
Ryan

That doesn't make him any less of a QB. I don't see how one could put 3 rookies and Big Ben ahead of Brady.

This list was basically your top ten QBs in the league. Championships are last resort bragging rights.
I hated Flacco's guts(due to Fantasy football) but I read an article on how he is a winner, he has led Baltimore to the playoffs consistently, and a superbowl victory backs up his ranking. Some may feel Roethlisberger SUCKS...but despite the help he had from Pittsburg Defense he had some clutch moments in his superbowl wins.

Srsly.

Having two guys who didn't even play out their entire rookie seasons in front of guys that have 2 and 3 SB rings is pretty laughable.

So I guess Montana and Bradshaw are in your top 10? Again, I based my rankings on who I would least like to face. Brady just doesn't scare me as much as he did. Flacco, not really any more than about 10 other NFL QBs.

1. Was this done in numerical rankings?
2. :laugh3: @ Schaub @ #9.

I'm hating on you for passing on a Redskins QB...nothing personal

RG3 was better than Schaub last year, he was better running the same offense. You can make an apples to apples comparison there.

He was also better than Luck last year. It would take RG3 4 seasons to match Luck's INT totals from one season.

Comical.

Yep - how stupid of us. We didn't consider that Luck threw a lot more picks & helped the Colts win with that cupcake schedule. What were we thinking?

You don't think that had anything to do with Alfred Morris running for 1,600 yards while Indy had almost zero run game and a terrible defense?

One qb threw 39 attempts a game. The other, 26. How are you shocked Luck had more picks?

Because Luck made typical rookie mistakes. RG3 didn't. RG3 doesn't throw idiotic passes into coverage. And Morris isn't the same back without RG3 on the field, that 1,600 rushing yards was due to a symbiotic relationship with Griffin on the field and the threat that Griffin poses to defenses. Morris doesn't get 1,600 yards with Luck behind center.

Tired of hearing excuses for Luck.

Yeah we all get enthusiastic with our list but Flacco just put himself into elite conversation, he's headed that way. So to say Ryan is right after Rogers, Brees, Brady & the Mannings is TOUGH!

I feel like Rogers, Brees & Brady are almost in there own tier still. Rings & amazing individual accomplishments.
