The NFC East looks like a mess. Although the Cowboys are 2-0, they'll be without Romo and Bryant for a good chunk of the season. The Redskins had a nice win over the Rams but I still don't trust them. The Eagles are a total dumpster fire and the Giants keep giving wins away.

So which of these teams ends the season atop the trash heap formerly known as the NFC East?

I am still sticking with the Cowboys mostly just because I have even less faith in the other 3 teams. Dallas already has wins on The Eagles and Giants going for them as well.

Tough call...Weeden is just not trust worthy...Idk if DAL can hang in there with 2 of their main OFC pieces are gone for 8+ games.

I'd like to say maybe WAS, but can't trust Cousins a ton either...by default I think PHI wins the DIV.

I was with you until that highlighted portion. As one of the commentators remarked near the end of the game yesterday, after 8 quarters of football, Philly has looked horrible in six of them.

I would say Dallas, but I agree that such long absences by Romo and Dez figure to be tough to overcome, though the Dallas defense looks pretty good. Having Sean Lee really makes a difference.

I really don't see how anyone could feel too confident in any of these four teams.

Glad to see a non-Cowboy fan notice that one. I know there have been some great Offensive numbers put up, but I can't imagine a player had a better game yesterday than Sean Lee.

He was really good yesterday. Seems like every time I see him play he has a good game.

I'm leaning towards the Giants. If not for their own stupidity they'd be 2-0. I think their mistakes are correctable and they can get themselves to 9-7, which should win the division.

That's the wild card in the group. They have played well in odd numbered quarters.

Weeden is bad. But, they have a 2-0 cushion and if they can manage to win just 3-4 of their games with Romo out, they should be fine.

maybe their offense.
That defense has it's hands full with Washington this coming week

Will be a fun one to watch Thursday, unlike yesterdays Dallas game. WAS wins and it buries the Giants even further. NYG wins and it helps lighten the threat of Washington taking over while Dallas gets healthy.

Cowboys get it done unless Romo is out for 10+ games.

When you really break these teams down...it's tough to have confidence in any of them...but, let's look anyway.

DAL...Weeden is going to start probably 8 games...do we think he can go .500? Is the DEF strong enough to carry the team?...idk the answer to either question.

NYG...I think they will make another run like they always seem to after a bad start, but if they don't get Cruz back to complement Jr...they're not going anywhere...the Dline is not even close to what it once was.

WAS...imo Cousins is a decent back up in this league...surrounding cast may not be strong enough to life him to 9 or 10 wins.

PHI...they have their trigger man (healthy thru 2 games now), replacing a lot of key players...but a lot of talent still on the squad...even after going 0-2...today, they still look the most promising.

If they stay healthy, the Eagles have the most talent in this division and eventually they'll figure their shit out - Dallas has a really strong defense and I do think that will keep them in it, they won't completely crumble even without Tony Romo but the Eagles schedule should allow them to win some games if they take advantage
