Time to put your money where your skirt falls. Who do you have getting the final two seeds in the NFC Playoff picture?

The Wild-Card round is shaping up to be dogshit this year with the 6th & 7th seeds almost guaranteed to be some pretty bad teams. Going with the assumption that the Rams will take the 5th seed then who do you have getting the final 2 seeds in the NFC?

I've been calling it since the Eagles started 2-5 that they would be in the running for the 7th seed and here we are and here they are. Lately I was thinking the 49ers and Vikings might run away with those final 2 seeds but recent losses have really opened the door. I think the final 2 seeds ultimately come down to between 49ers/Redskins/Eagles/Vikings/Saints. If Eagles and Redskins split there games that is where it becomes really interesting but if either team sweeps the other than I think that team makes it in.

I'm going with Eagles & Saints.

I see Eagles finishing 10-7 or 9-8. I also see the Saints finishing 9-8. Eagles own the tie breaker over the Saints so in this scenario they would get the 6th seed and Saints the 7th.

I think they are probably the best of the potential wild card teams, the one with the best chance to actually do some damage in the playoffs but yeah that Lions loss kills them to put them at 7 losses with games against the Packers and Rams coming up.

49ers should beat ATL and HOU so they need to find another win between CIN, TEN or LAR.

WFT they need to split with DAL and PHI then take care of business in week 18 against the Gspots

If I were thinking best teams in the list. I would go with Niners & Vikes.
but with the Vikes play calling to not lose games in the end, instead of winning them. All their games will go into final drives to declare a winner. See them at 8-9 at best.
If you were to ask me early in the season how many would go to the playoffs from the East I would have said one. (division winner) But now I will predict the Niners & Redskins. The Niner & skins are the only teams that I think can finish above .500 (Skins at 9-8) If they fail it will be whichever 8-9 team that wins the tie breakers. Which could be multiple teams at 8-9 for the tiebreakers.

Niners and either WFT or Cowboys, whoever doesn't win the div. Eagles with a chance but I see 2-2 the rest of the way which will leave them short. This upcoming week will start to clarify things, imo. Vikes loss to the Lions was a killer and the Saints are free falling and have no real QB.

If they can get past the Rams and it's a long shot then I might start to consider there's an outside chance.

I know things look bleak. Very VERY bleak but I'm one of those I'll believe in my team till we are mathematically eliminated which I can see coming Next week vs LA. Just hoping for a miracle.

There is something Pitbullish about the FT. So much I'm trademarking the Washington Pitbulls. They never say die. I like that about them.

As for when we are mathematically eliminated. Well...

My concern with the Seahawks is that even if they miraculously win out, they likely lose tiebreakers to everyone but the Niners.
